Right up until Percy jumped off the great wall of china with a lion. Our assignment was going great. Calypso told Festus to land in the middle of the wall. Once we were odd Festus and on the ground we started looking around "Uhhh Calypso" I said "How do you know there's a Nemean Lion around the great wall of china?" She grimaced and said "Because there's always one at the most ancient and famous site in every country. Only half bloods can see or hear them" "Oh great" Percy spoke up "It's not like I was gonna ask any locals 'Hey have you seen any lions around here. We're here to kill it so we can save our friend' no I definitely didn't think they couldn't see or hear it" "Oh shut up" then we heard a roar in the distance. Then outta no where an albino lion jumped in front of us. Then I noticed the red streaks in its fur and mane. It kinda reminded me of Sadie. I looked over and saw Percy frozen with fear. "Uhh dude" Jason spoke up "You ok?" Percy uncapped Riptide and stood at guard "That's it" he said "That's the Nemean Lion" at that we all unsheathed our weapons. "Nobody move" Calypso instructed "It can see through movement. We'll need to attack from behind" it roared again. Any last words it seemed to say. "Where's Frank,Thalia and Will when you need em" I asked. The lion charged and we scattered "Fan out" Jason shouted "It can't attack us all at once" "Yeah but it can do some serious damage" Percy countered "Then lets kill it in style" I shouted. Jason thrust his sword to the sky. A lightning bolt shot down and channeled through his sword and hit the lion. Turning it into BBQ. Being vegetarian I was a little disgusted nut it did smell good. Like Leos tacos apparently everyone else thought so to and a mix of sadness and anger fell upon us. "Great" Calypso said "now we need another one" I looked up to the sky. Darkness was setting "Perhaps we should rest till dawn" I suggested. Everyone but Calypso liked this idea. "What?!" She asked "But...Leo...we need to find another lion NOW" "Calypso" Percy said trying to calm her down "I get it. Your angry,your anxious,your upset,your worried. I know how that feels believe me I do. But right now we need to rest. We've been through a lot the past few days" Calypso sighed admitting defeat "Fine. We'll rest now. But tomorrow we hunt" "Heh you sound like Thalia" Jason commented. We all laughed. I found a spot next to Jason to lay my head down. When I noticed Percy practicing his sword play. "You ok?" I asked him "Huh...oh yeah I'm fine just...thinking that's all" "Thinking? About what?" He sighed and said "About how everyone's doing right now. I mean if we're not doing so hot then how's everyone else" I decided to keep my answer short and sweet "We'll ask em. When we're done" and at that I went to sleep.
