Chapter 10

The hospital was cold. Freezing. I woke up from the late night in the hospital. I looked over at Joe. Sleeping.

I was being creepy and stared at him sleeping on a couch with his clothes. I stood up and coughed waking him up.

He moaned from waking up.

"Wake me up when it's morning" He groaned

"It is morning dumb head." I giggled

I wanted to get up but the nurse didn't let me.

I sighed and layed back in the bed.

Why did I do this? Why did I cut myself. Why do I do everything wrong?

I started tearing up and thinking about my family.. what will they say about this. Probley abbonden me right away

IM only 16 :(

As the nurse came in she handed me a breakfast meal.

Bacon, Eggs, Hashbrowns, Toast and pancakes

IS THIS IHOP LIKE LORD IM IN HEAVEN!

I took a bite of pancakes as I looked at Joe eyeballing those pancakes.

"You want a bite or somethin..." I asked giggling

He ran over and grabbed a fork and started eating the pancakes

"Don't eat them all!" I laughed

"You have been warned" He laughed

We ate our breakfast and finally stuffed ourselves. I smiled at him while he layed back on the couch.

"You don't have to be here ya know..." I told him.

"Well.. I wanna be here.. with you." He smiled back

It was sorta a little awkward with him.. still not knowing if were still dating.. just... awkward.

I stared at my stitches. Brown and red. The colors I don't like.

Looked gross as I looked closer.

If only I never cut myself.

I got up from my seat as the nurse came in

"I thought it was gonna be 3 days but apparently it was just 1. You are now able to leave." She smiled

I gasped as I demolished out the room.

I knew I was only forgetting something..

joe.

He can stay there if he wants im not running all the way back to the room.

I got a taxi as it took me to the hotel.

Mom and Dad were in the hotel room with Saedi.

"M.. Mom.. D.. Dad.." I said getting nervous trying to hide my stitches by putting my arm around my back.

"We heard you got lost." My mom said.

"Yea.. from Saedi." Dad said.

I glanced at Saedi with an evil eye. I feel like she told my family bout Joe and ugh..

"Who's this 'Joe guy'" Dad said

I paused. Shaking nervously and staring at a painting Gulping so loud mom can hear.

"My...." I paused.

"WELL WHO IS IT." Dad said getting louder

"Friend.." I said in a sobbing voice.

"WHAT." He screamed

"MY FRIEND!!!!!" I yelled storming out the house with balling eyes.

Saedi told him everything.. Why.. Whyy

At least they didn't find my scars. That wouldv'e been worse.

My mom followed me outside screaming my name one time at a time "ADELINE MONICA. ADELINE MONICA."

I kept running than sat on the park bench.

She caught up to me and sat down.

"Honey.. Who's Joe." She said

I sniffled as I wipped my eyes. "Fine you caught me. He's my boyfriend..." I said looking down

"Aha! Thats the answer were looking for!" She laughed.

I giggled but tried hiding scars.

"Now. Where's your scars?"

My eyes widen in shock. I can't belive Saedi told her everything.

"I.. U..B." i began

"Honey.. Im not mad.." She pulled out a scar on her arm.

"Honey I used to cut myself alot too... You get it from depression and pressure.. Sometimes you feel like you don't live on the planet anymore.. Look.. Why do you cut? What is making you do this. I WANT THE TRUTH."

I told my mom about 4th of July.. And I told her about Joe.. And all this confusion in my life. I told her about the condom breaking and all this tragic happening..

She opened her mouth wide while taking a deep breath and said......
