Max's POV:
"Maxie," Tj began, softly as we lay in his bunk together, moving his head up to face me. I gave a short humming noise as I continued to stroke his soft, black hair. "Do you think we could, maybe, move in together?" I smile down at him.
"I thought you would never ask." I replied, just before we heard a knock by the head of the bunk. The curtain opened, revealing Robert.
"Hey," he said, almost in a whisper. "Ronnie's getting out today. Did you guys wanna come with us to go get him?"
"He woke up?" I ask, hopeful that my friend would be okay.
"Yeah, he woke up last night around nine. Didn't they call you?"
"No. Why would they?" I question.
"Because, at the beginning of this tour, Ronnie told me he still had you down as his emergency contact." Robert said, confusion in his voice. "Did you not know that?" I shook my head in a silent 'no.'
"He never told me." I had no idea that I was even put down as Ronnie's emergency contact to begin with. "I'll go, just let me get my shirt on."
"I'm coming, too." Tj spoke up, shyly. He moved off my chest, allowing me to move and grab my shirt from the bus floor. Why did Ronnie never tell me I was his emergency contact?

As I set foot in the hospital, I saw Ronnie stumbling as he argued with a nurse who tried to get him to sit in a wheelchair.
"I'm fine." He said, annoyed. "I can walk."
" No, mister Radke, you're stumbling an awful lot." The nurse replied, calmly. "You need to sit."
"I can walk out of here, trust me!"
"Ronnie, please." I chime in, taking the nurse's side. "Do it for me?" Ronnie sighed in defeat.
"Fine."he said, clearly hating me for not taking his side in this. " But I'm walking from the car to the bus!" I let out a small laugh as Ronnie sat in the wheelchair.
"Thank you." I say, turning from Ronnie to the nurse. "I can take it from here." She smiled, allowing me to take over the wheelchair as she followed Ronnie and I out to his car, helping him into the front passenger seat. Ronnie was always the stubborn type, even when we were kids, he would refuse help from our teachers. Some things never change.
