I didn't know how to
I didn't want to...
Grew tired of holding
Felt myself rotting
As King David said,
"My bones burn like a furnace"
I was losing the raceI lost sight of your glory
Became blind
Because I wouldn't let go
I let anxiety and depression
Grab a hold of me
I didn't care, I didn't fleeOnly by your grace!
Was I able to embrace
Embrace the sense of life! You gave me strength to let go
Let go of anxiety and depression
I now hold in heart your salvation
"He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness, for his name sake."
