"He's gone. Athena, do not ever expect him to come back. For me, for you. He has no love for you, the care he has for you is little to nonexistent."
"You're nothing to him."
"nothing."
"you're the reason why, he ran away."
----
Athena took a sharp inhale, her eyes heavier then ever. An continuous beeping surrounding her and short voices moved around her.
"There's a chance she will suffer from retrograde amnesia. Due to the damage of her frontal lobe. The damage is only minor, but the extent of the Amnesia and whether she'll have it, is unknown."
Athena lifted her eyes a bit, letting the flood of sunlight flood between the crevices of her eyes. But it felt nicer to keep them closed.
"April, Elijah i think you should go home."
"no." April snapped, "I'm staying."
"Where am i?" Athena attempted to say, but her dry scratchy mouth said nothing.
She turned her head slowly, peering through seeing a bright flashing light."mum" she thought.
"where's mum.?"
She sat up immediately, "I need to get home, I've got shopping to do- owww my head." she sat up slowly.
"Where am i?"
She opened her eyes, seeing an scene of a hospital room."What?.."
She looked on the bored, seeing her patient details on it.

before seeing a blue curtain surrounding her a few metres away from her bed. She saw three sets of peering eyes staring at her.
"Why aren't you guys at school?" asked Athena tilting her head, April started to tear up. Elijah's eyes hardened at the doctors. "do something!" he snapped to Aprils brother.
---------------------
Like a constant feeling of confusion, missing a piece of her life.
The memory of the day of her accident. Entirely missing, as if she fell asleep for days and end.She slumped on her bed, a week later. Staring at her ceiling.
'get help."
"Get. help..please, i beg of you"
She turned over, as the voices disappear.
"help...me"
She sat up, hearing muffled moans from her mums room.
She sighed, "mums playing up again, one of her men are over."
But only her muffled moans was heard, moans turned into groans, groans turned into hounds...which turned into small screams.
Athena sprinted to the door.
"The Baby!"
She burst into her mums room. Her mum hunched over, water dripping down her leg. She looked up in tears at Athena, "help...me" she whimpered.
"Get help...help me." the voice echoed
"You can run but you can't hide"
"hello?" the midwife answered.
"my mum she-her...her water just broke."
"what address are you?" The midwife answered calmly
"Sector 3, square 179."
"Im at another birth, but I'll send someone on your way."
"ahh, oh...okay" Athena respondsShe cuts..
Athena put the phone down, approaching her mum. "deep breathes mum, sit down."
Athena's mum did what she was told, laying on the bed, pale with pain. Each contractions like a crippling wave that floods through her body every two minutes. Her uterus physically cripling her, as the unwanted baby inside her craves human touch. She punched her stomach, "it's trying to kill me."
"Mum, no please..."
"help...me"
Athena stopped, a sudden memory flooding back. Her mum raised her head, and let out a howling scream. "how long have you had contractions?"
"Since fucking yesterda-"
"Yesterday!!"
Her mum hissed at her, but another crippling wave flushed through.
The doorbell ring, echoing through the house. A wave of relief flush through Athena's body as she rushed to the door. Leaving her howling mother behind.
She opened the door, meeting a stern-looking women; with a button nose and peircing thin eyes. With long grey hair, pinned back in a tight and neat bun.
Athena moved aside allowing her to walk in, straight upstairs. She could hear her mums scream and followed them until the room.
Athena felt helpless, unaware of what to do. So timidly followed her. "Get hot towels." The women ordered. She did so, wringing the hot water out and of the towels and gathering dry ones.
With every contraction it dominated Athena's mums, Sapphire body.Echoing from limb to limb her stomach tightened, she heard her own scream without being aware of making it...
Athena knelt next to the women who was between her mums legs. She saw the hair filled head peeping through and a way of nausea speed through her.
"Ma'am the umbilical cord is wrapped around the neck, you need to push as hard as you can-"
"I can't...I-I can't!" Screamed Athena's mum.
"Yes you can!" Ordered the women.
Athena's mum screamed louder den ever, clearly pushing hard. The women grabbed the silver forceps from her bag and using her hand to guide it through the vagina and clamped it around the baby's head. "PUSH!!"
She did so.
The baby flew out, along with reddish liquid into the womens hand, the women unwinded the umbilical cord , the baby was blue.
It was a boy!!
But he was limp.
No sound streaming from its fresh mouth.
The nurse pattered the baby, as it lays limp in her arms. Taking an oxygen mask and placing it around the fragile head, Athena started to pump it.
Nothing
She turned the baby over patting his back, and his hand twitched.
A fulfilling cry echoed throughout the hallway, the baby.
The women smiled for the first time in relief but frowned
The baby was small, very small and malnourished
But
He was Missing a limb, his hand.
"Couldn't help the drugs huh?"
"Its an ugly ma'am."
