Jason King is perfect. Whether it's the British accent, his flawless fashion sense or having been able to pick up life again after having been through trauma as a result from his kidnapping, everyone agrees that this man is immaculate.
However, things are never the way they appear to the eye.
While hiding his inner battles, Jason struggles to get through his daily life that's full of triggers from his PTSD. As the ghost from the past is haunting him, he tries to move on and continue life as if he'd never been gone--all the while being perfect. Because that's all he's ever been, after all.
So, here it is: The Downside to Perfection!
I'm so thankful that you decided to pick up this book. Really, this book must be the one that's closest to my heart of all the things I've written so far, so I sincerely hope you enjoy it. The publishing will start in July 2019, simply because I have a lot to do the next month so I can't stick to an uploading schedule yet, but I didn't want to wait with uploading the book itself, especially for the devoted readers of All The Things We Lost. And if you were worried about that: yes, this is a spin-off of All The Things We Lost, but no, you don't have to have read it to understand this. However, this book might have a few spoilers ahead if you were planning on reading All The Things We Lost.
But I'm so happy to return to my characters! I've always thought Jason was special, but he didn't get the chance to show who he really was in ATTWL. But here... This is his story, and his alone.
And FYI: this book is available for offline reading. It has banners at the beginning of the chapters, stating what chapter it is and are there for the purpose of personalizing this book, but they are not necessary to the story. This chapter is an exception with pictures for the cast, too.
Please be aware of the sensitive topics discussed in this book, such as post-traumatic stress disorder.
