A/N Hope you enjoy this chapter. I would also like to say that this is set in today so the timeline is not all the back to when he originally started rapping its all sit in 2018 instead of 2019.  Also, be mindful I have no clue what an album release arty actually looks like.

               We arrive at this building that had a lot of TV people here like a lot of them. I think Rook could see that I was very nervous about all this. "They just hear to ask questions and take pictures," he said rubbing my back. "Yeah, After this people are going to know who I am. I'm not me and Lee aren't going to be invisible anymore it's scary. To think about" I say softly. "You were always famous when it came to me. Don't you remember every time we had a family thing you were the highlight to everyone day. We play the piano for your parents and sing Christmas songs."  Kellz said looking at me. I hugged him tightly as he makes the comment "Come on you and lee are going to be my arm candies tonight. Sorry Rook" I looked at Rook and gave him a quick peck on the cheek before we got out of the limo. 

              I held on to Kelly's arm tightly as I could while leaha was on the other side of him leaving for these pictures they were taking.  Wow, Diddy really knows how to throw a release party cause this place sure is packed I thought to myself. I looked back at rook to see him stop with slim and pose for a photo when he noticed I was looking at him he winked. "There he is. The hot new Rapper from our very own Cleveland." I heard a reporter say and Kelly walked us over to her. "Hey," he said to her. "Hi! Machine gun kelly. Who are your lovely dates?" she asked. "This is Leaha" leaha waved "and this is my little cousin Lannie," he said and I smiled at them. "What are feeling right now," the reporter asked. "I'm feeling a lot right now I'm feeling the excitement and love, I mean we all worked really hard for this and it's crazy" 

             We finally get inside and it was so crowded did my cousin really know this money people? I thought as we walked around and talked to people I realized some were his friends and somewhere there because of diddy. I was standing around with a glass of water in my hand talking to leaha when I looked over seeing rook. "Are you staring at Rookie again?" Lee asked me and I looked at her. "I can't help it. He just looks really amazing tonight I mean he looks hot all the time it's just ..." I say. "Say no more I understand. Your cousin looks amazing tonight to" she spoke out. "Yeah look at his smile he honestly really happy ... Hold on do you like my cousin?" I say looking at her. "What ... No way jeez I was just saying." she said with a really high voice which meant she was lying. "mhm" I say laughing. Slim and Kelly walked over to us "What are you girls doing come dance with us" slim said "Yeah come with us. Kelly took Lee hand I seen her blush I was just about to mention it when slim snatched my arm. 

             "Slim," I say with a laugh "just lets dance," he said and I shot him this look. "hold on I'm going to go get Rook," he said and walked away. I soon saw slim walking back towards me dragging Rook behind him also I glanced over to Kelly and lee. They looked like they were really enjoying each other company which made me happy. "Alright Rook dance with me and Lannie" slim said, "Hold on what?" I questioned "Yeah," Slim said. "Are you serious?" Rook said looking up to him. "I mean yeah you do realize that Rook and I are both short you are super tall" I added. "Yeah so let's just dance" slim said and I looked at rook I shrugged my shoulders and grab Slim hand. Soon Rook had his hands on my side and was really close to me as I was facing slim dancing.

                    I broke away from slim the crowd I had been dancing since I got here it felt like an I needed a drink.  I went to the bar area and I ordered water as I waited for the drink and couldn't help but to think about how rook danced with me. I loved the grip he had on my waist and how close he was to me I started to blush just thinking about it. The bartender handed me the water and I turned around watching the party. I drink my water watching kelly and my best friend dancing, Slim went and found another girl to dance with and then there was Rook. He had his phone out recording the party he was laughing at slim. Me and him have been dating for almost a year and I always did say I wanted to lose my ... on a special night. This is a very special night for my boyfriend, my cousins, and their friends. 

Text Messages start

Me: I want to get out of here

Rook 😍: Where? 

Me: Take me back to your place ... 💦

Rook 😍: You serious 

Rook 😍: Hell yeah baby sneak out the back and I will follow behind in 5 minutes.

Text message End.

             I leaned against the brick wall of the building the party was in waiting for Rook. I heard the door opened and seen rook walk out and walk over to me. He kissed me Immediately and pulled me closer to him hugging me. "Are you sure this is what you want to do tonight?"  he asked looking at me in my eyes. "Yeah I'm Ready," I say back looking at him "Well follow me," he said as we made our way through the ally trying not to caught. We walked 2 blocks over before we waited for a cab to get us. I held his hand and stood closer to him since it was kind of cold out. "Are you cold baby girl?" rook asked me  "Yeah," I say and he took off his coat putting it on me and pulling me closer to him as we waited.

             We made it to his apartment building he went and paid the driver. We walked over to the door and then walked up 3 flights of stairs and then down a hallway. "Well this is my place," he said and unlock the door "I can't wait to see it," I say with a soft smile. We walked into the place off to the right was the kitchen. We walked in further to see a hall way and his living room. He had his drum set and a couch with a tv in the living room. We walked to the hall way and seen his bathroom and his bed room. "Well this is where I sleep" he said walking in the room and I followed. "It looks like your room back in Toledo except the bed bigger here." I said with a little giggle. He walked closer to me "Just right for tonight then" he said laughing. I placed my arms around him and smiled deeply at him. "I love when you smile just that one dimple very beautiful to me" Rook said to me gripping me tighter to him. I kissed him deeply as he laid me down on his bed "Are you sure you are totally ready for this" he asked again and I nodded.
