Chapter 12

Dalia POV

Blaise, Theo, and Draco had just told me goodnight before leaving my dorm room. Daddy & papa soon came in to tell me goodnight, kissing me on the forehead & that's when they notice that I don't have cupcake or my paci with me.

"Where's cupcake & your paci Dalia? " daddy asks me. "M-make fun of me," I whisper, turning my head so I can't face them. "Well, they will be right here on the nightstand for you if you need them," papa says, but I ignore him. "Goodnight, sweet girl," Papa says, kissing the back of my head as I wasn't facing them; daddy does the same before leaving the room.

Once they left, everyone was still asleep, so I push my paci and Cupcake into the trash beside my bed once again.

Soon, it was about 2 AM, & everyone else was asleep except for me. I started to cry quietly because I was a baby for wanting my paci & cupcake.

After a while, I realize that I'm crying so loudly that I had woken up Pansy. She walks over to my bed & tries to touch me, but as I try to move away from her, I fall onto the floor.

I scream from the pain radiating in my arm & head. As I cry, it causes Daphne and Hermione to wake up, then she hurriedly rushes towards me, but Pansy pushes a button on the wall & pretty soon daddy & papa are kneeling next to me.

"I'll go get Poppy." It is the last thing I hear before everything goes dark.

Lucius's POV

Severus says that he's going to get Poppy, but just after he leaves, Dalia's body starts to shake violently. I kneel beside her and turn her on her side. "Girls, don't look," I say & they quickly turn away from Dalia's shaking body.

"Pansy, hand me a pillow & try not to look," I say, and she nods, grabbing a pillow & handing it to me with her eyes closed. After a minute, Poppy comes rushing in with Severus behind her. "Okay, Severus, take the girls to the common room," Poppy instructs & he quickly takes the girls to the common room.

Third Person POV

Dalia's seizure soon subsides. Once her body is ultimately still, they carefully wrap her in a blanket & Lucius carries Dalia down to the common room & the two walk to the infirmary. At the same time, Severus leads the exhausted girls to their dorm room & into their beds.

Lucius's POV

"She's broken her right arm. She's lucky that's all she's broken," Poppy says; I nod. "Can I take her back to her dorm & into bed?" I ask, making her nod. "Of course, Lucius. I've given her a pain & sleeping potion, so he shouldn't wake up," she says.

I nod & then pick up my daughter, carrying her to his dorm & tucking her into bed. As I do, I find his paci & Cupcake in the trash. I quickly tuck Cupcake in her bed, then I go into the girls' bathroom & wash off her paci.

I put it in her mouth & as I see her start to suck on it slowly, I leave, smiling lightly.

Dalia's POV

I wake up to Hermione, lightly shaking me awake. "H-Hermione?" "It's time to get ready and go to breakfast," she says, I nod, and Draco walks into my dorm, and he helps me get dressed and then into my wheelchair. We head to the dining hall and eat breakfast.

I eat toast with butter, oatmeal, and pumpkin juice.

After breakfast is charms with the Gryffindor's. As they learn their new spells, Draco helps me as it takes me a little longer than him to learn. After charms, we go to potions with papa, and Draco and I sit at a front desk, Pansy and Hermione behind us.

They wave at me, and I wave back, smiling. Papa starts to speak, and I listen intently.

He waves his wand after giving instructions which has the potion ingredients and steps to make on the black board in the front of the classroom. Draco lets me put the ingredients in while he does the rest but also explains what each ingredient is from and why we need to use it in the current potion and what properties it has. I feel so lucky to have a twin brother who can help me with school work and in class. After potions is transfiguration with Aunt Minnie! And we're learning to turn a match into a needle.

It's hard but thankfully I have Draco to help me as well as Aunt Minnie!

Dinner At The Great Hall

I sit at my table with my house mates, Blaise and Theo across from me while Draco and Pansy sit on either side of me as I eat dinner. We finally get dessert but I don't eat much only a treacle tart but that's about it since Daddy and Papa don't like us eating too much sugar especially Draco cause then he basically bounces off the walls.

After dinner, it's bedtime for me so daddy and papa tuck me in and I close my eyes ready for tomorrow.
