Ninjago X reader - Dimension 8.

3- Drama Disaster

        =Azura's PoV=

    Cole stands up from his spot on the bed, and walks towards the bedroom door. He looks at me over his shoulder, and smiles.
     "Wanna go eat some dinner? Nya's cooking tonight."

      I arch an eyebrow. I don't know who 'Nya' is, but nonetheless i AM hungry. I nod and jog to Cole's side. He leads me out into a hall, and we go left. I gaze around at my strange surroundings, while trying to keep up with the muscular man.
     We escape the maze of halls, and come to a set of stairs. We climb them, and i finally feel the fresb air on my skin. The sun is setting, so the sky is filled with warm colors. 
      Cole keeps moving, as he shoves his hands in his front pockets. I run along to - as ive said-- keep up. We approach a room next to a set of stairs which go up. We enter the room, and Cole greets a mini crowd of people, all dressing in single color outfits.
          I smile awkwardly and wave to the crowd. Amoungst the many faces is Penny. She sees me behind Cole and a devious smile crosses her face. One she only makes when she notices how I'm feeling.
Awkward and complicated feeling do stir inside of me, but i knkw its something else that she's smirking about.
          For now, i ignore it, and take a seat next to Cole and a boy in green attire. Penny clears her throat, and gestures to me.
The group looks at her.
          "Everyone, this is my sister; Azura! Azura, these are the Ninja who helped us."
    I wave a shaky hand in greeting.

    The boy next to me speaks up.

         "It's nice to meet you, Azura. My name's Lloyd! That over there is Kai,"
    Lloyd points to a guy in red, with brown eyes and spikey hair.

    "And that's Jay,"
            He points to the guy in blue,  with swept to the side brown hair, and skyblue eyes. Also, he's sitting next to Penny.
        "And Zane currently isnt here, but he's the nindroid."

     I bow my head ever so slightly.
"It's nice to meet all of you. As you know, my name is Azura, and im humbly grateful for your help."

     Penny's eyes flicker with an impressed look, and she says,
"Wow." To me.

      A girl in a red attire enters the room, carrying a big bowl of noodles. Plates and silverware are already set up down the table, so once the girl puts the bowl of noodles down in the center, the boys dig in.
      "My name's Nya. Nice to meet you, Azura."
    "You too."

      Nya sits down at the end of the table, and serves herself after the boys. She then passes the noodle bowl down to me and i scoop out enough to fill me up. Then i hand it to Penny across from me.

       I hear the door open from behind me, as i take my first bite of dinner. It's really good, and flavorful.
     I hear a familiar growl sound from behind me, and i sigh.
    ('Great. Drama alert. ')

        "YOU...!" Huffs Maya.

           I swallow the food i have in my mouth and wave her off. She doesn't like that, though. Maya marches up to me and forcefully spins me around to look her in the eyes.
       "Not now, Maya. I'm trying to eat." I say plainly.
       Her eyebrows press together in a look of rage.

      "Like I give a damn what you do!" She barks.

     Everyone's gazes drop on us.
I shove her away, and turn back around.
      "Don't shove me!!"

      "All i want to do is enjoy a meal!!" I growl at her.
     But, again, Maya doesn't like that. She grabs the back of my shirt and drags me outside in the last of todays light. Maya shoves me to the floor, as the group rushes outside to watch.
      "Get up and fight me!" Maya orders.
      "Yeah right." I huff.

    I rise to my feet, and try to walk away. Only, Maya brings her fist to my cheek. I stumble backwards, and hear my sister start to call me nasty things.
 
    "Evil bitch!!"  
         "Worthless coward!"
      "Hopeless Nobody!!"

         I growl,  and scream at her to shut up. Maya chuckles and hold out her arms. She smiles something wicked and shoots me a mocking look.
        "Make me." She threatens.
    

       I lunge at her, ready to tear her to shreds, but feel a strong pair of arms grab a hold of me and hold me back. I look ahead and see Maya drawing back her fist to punch me, only to see the metal man- Zane- grab her and hold her back too.

        "Worthless piece of shit!!!" Maya calls me.

     I try to pry myself free from whomever holds me back, but instead i hear Cole's voice.
 
    "Don't listen to her, Az. Just... calm down."
     
        "But she deserves a beating!" I howl.

     Cole's grip on me grows tighter.

    "Maybe. But that doesnt mean you deserve the consequences for putting her back into place. Just come with me back to my room and Ill help you calm down. Okay?"
     I take several deep breaths before i can answer.
      "Okay... Let's go then. " I finish.
Cole's strong arms move from my body, and he takes my hand and leads me away from the scene.
    We go back to his room, and he keeps his promise. Cole tells me another funnh story to calm me down, and it works. 

   "Hey.... Az? Can i ask you something?"
  
       I look at Cole with half sleepy eyes and nod. I lean my head up against the side of Cole's bed, and look into his gorgeous eyes. Oops. Did I say gorgeous? Well.... I'm too tired to pick another word, so deal with it.

     "Why does Maya call you such cruel things?"

     I yawn and my eyes flutter close. I'm determined to answer most- if not all- of His questions before falling asleep.

      "Because of my powers. I can... corrupt people. Make them... my henchmen. Turn them evil. Ive barely ever used it before. Only in bad, bad, bad situations... you know?"
        Another yawn flees from my system. 

       "But she's no better..." I pout.
 
              "How so?"
 
      "Well, pretty man,"

      Cole blushes slightly at my comment to his looks. I continue my explanation.

     "Maya can raise the undead as her workers to do her bidding. Its why she's so mean... but she mostly focuses her negativity on me. Im not 100% sure whh tho...."

     Cole watches as i Yawn... yet again. He chuckles and drops the rest of his questions. The master of earth scoops me up into his arms, and puts me in his bed, to let me sleep.

     "Goodnight,... Az."
