"I look good..." I keep telling myself. Over. And over. And Over.
(' What if I don't look good!? What if I'm sending the wrong message and I ruin our friendship!? Plaid tends to ruin relationships, doesn't it!? Stupid plaid!! Wait!! Why am I even squabbling over this?? It's not like I have a crush on Cole!! ......... Oh my LIFE!!! I have a crush on Cole!!!!! ')
I consider melting down into the carpets and staying there. However, as I'm about to give into pressure, there's a knock on the door. Looks like it's too late now. I accidentally start hyperventilating in attempt to calm down. I wobble over to the door, and open it to find Cole dressed up in a casual plaid button up, a white tanktop, and black jeans. ('STUPID PLAID!!!')
Cole takes one look at my face and his nose scrunches up. He can tell something is picking at me.
"Az? What's wrong? You look like you just had a panic attack?" He pins.
That would have been a significant improvement.
I shake my head side to side, breathing in a pattern. I reach over to the hooks beside the door in my room, and grab my small red purse.
"I'm fine. Just... really excited to go to the rides! (Yeah...)" I bluff.
Coles stares at me, looking for any gaps to my act, but I hold strong, at least while he's looking. He finally shrugs and turns to go down the hall.
"If you say so. C'mon. Let's get on deck and be on our way." I nod my head in a wince/flinch, before following Cole up into the warm fresh air above deck. Cole goes over to the side of the bounty and summons his dragon. The large beast poofs into existence, which marvels me every time. Each of the Ninja have different dragons. Since Cole is the elemental master of earth, his dragon looks like its made of rocks. It's cool.
We both hop up on his dragon, and I wrap my arms around Coles.... strong ...*ahem* chest, and he pulls the chain towards him. The Rocky dragon lifts off in a rush of speed and I hold on dearly to Cole and he laughs. I squeeze shut my eyes, and dig my fingers around the Master of Earth. Hopefully this doesn't take long.

"After waking up this morning on my own, I got dressed into a styling outfit, and checked it out in the mirror. Afterwards, I went out into the hall... and ran into Jay. He was holding a bouquet of Blue Bells... I asked him who the flowers were for... and he held them out to me. I awkwardly took them, thanked him... and ran away."
Nya winces. I stuff my fingers into my hair, and groan.
"I know!!! It's horrible!! I shouldn't have just... run away!"
"Yeah... this is sad..." The Master of Water sighs.
"Nya! Your supposed to help me! Not diss me! What do I do?!" I stress.
Nya laughs, and pours herself another cup of tea. She takes a sip and sets the cup back down. Her arms rise and reach out for my hands. I slip my palms into her hands and we lock eyes. My bottom lip quivers and my eyes are shaky. Nya lets a giggle slip from her open mouth, before she speaks. "Relax, Penny. Knowing Jay, he's probably freaking out right now, too. Now, all you have to do to fix this is...-"
"Never go near him again?" I sink.
"Ugh. No! Go talk to him! I'm sure if you show up, everything will smoothen out! No backing down, no being rude, and NO panicking! Okay?" Nya rules.
"Y-you mean... go TALK to him? In person?"
My body starts trembling, and my hands fall out of the water girls. She sighs and pinches the crook of her nose, before looking at me again.
"Wow... you either have a HUGE crush on Jay, or some of your gears fell out when you slammed into him.... or both."
"I'll.... do it?"
"Great!! Now go see him!!"

I approach Jay's bedroom door, carrying the bouquet he handed me earlier. I stop at the foot of his room. Only one... (million) things roaming in my head. I swallow hard and rasp my knuckles on the wood. From the other side i hear a small yelp.
"W-who's there?" Jay croaks.
I gulp.
"It's m-me, Jay..." I whimper.
Not even a moments later the door slowly creaks open. Jay peaks through the small gap, and stutters a hello.
I wave my hand in shy greeting. I'm positive my face is flushed with blush. But I stay still. In fact, maybe I'm staying TOO still. My knees have locked, while I'm at it.
Jay looks me up and down, seeing the flowers in my grasp. He opens the door fully and steps foreward. My gut takes a turn for the worse, and butterflies consume my nerves. Jay gestures to the bouquet in my hand and nods to them.
"You kept them..?"
I giggle. "Well, duh. You gave them to me, didn't you? I'm n-not gonna throw them away... (especially if they're from you...)" I vow, mumbling the last part.
A smile of pure joy curves up on the Lightning Boy's lips and he brushes a lock of hair back behind my ear. I didn't even realize it had drooped foreward. Heh..
"So..." I rely on my heart from here on. "I'm sorry for running this morning. It was stupid."
"It's okay, Penn. Do you wanna go play some video games?"
I look up into his beautiful Blue eyes and nod. "Sounds fun."
