Nya and I sit in her room, discussing typical girl stuff, and sipping at tea. I swallow a portion of the drink and Nya brings up something I wasnt expecting.
"So, did you hear about how Maya was chasing Azura around yesterday?"
I sigh and set my cup of tea down on the table.
"She was? Why am I not surprised..."
Nya laughs.
"Yeah, Azura got Lloyd to distract Maya long enough... So Az got away."
"Well that's good."
"Heh... why do they hate eachother anyways?" Nya asks me.
I flinch my hand around as the memories of that night come to mind. The lightning. The huge fight. The loss.
"You don't wanna know..." I shudder.
"It's that bad, huh?"
"Y-yeah..."
"Alright. Then let's change the topic. What's going on between you and Jay, hmm?"
I feel my face grow red and I stutter a reply.
"W-w-what are you talking about?? Me? And J-Jay?? Pfft!! That's ridiculous!!"
Nya looks at me with a 'Bullshit' expression. I sigh, and droop my shoulders foreward.
I take another sip of tea, to try and stall.
"Penny...." Nya strings.
I swallow whats in my mouth and evade eye contact with the Master of water. Or is it mistress? I'm not entirely sure.
"Oh, come on, Penny! You can trust me! I wont spill!! Just tell me what's mixing between you two!! I'm dying to know!!!"
I mumble something under my breath.
"Fine... But only if you SWEAR and to tell anyone!!" I cave.
Nya gets a big toothy smile on her face, before she drags her finger over her heart.
"Cross my heart! Now tell me!!"
I puff out my cheeks and slouch.
"Well I can't tell you whats going on in his mind, but I can tell you whats up in mine."
"You like him!!" Nya guesses.
I quickly put my index finger to my lips and shush her.
I look around as if there are people nearby, but there aren't.
"Not so loud! Someone will hear you!!" I hiss.
Nya cups her mouth with her hands.
"Oh my gosh, you do!!" She whispers loudly.
I slowly nod my head, face flushed, and confirm this fact.
"Yeah... I like him. Maybe even... maybe even Love him. And I really dont know why."
I shrug my shoulders.
"Let me guess, he makes you laugh, he's always on your mind, and every time your around him you feel so clingy?"
"Pretty much." I mutter.
"Don't worry, Penny. Your feelings are safe with me."
I send a genuine smile her way.
"Thanks. "
