Chapter 8- Tuesday (Pt1)

=After Training=
=Azura's PoV=

       This is JUST what I need. [*Sarcasm] Maya has been following me around ever since Penny and I finished Training with Wu. She keeps trying to get under my skin, but I told Cole, Penny, and Sensei Garmadon that I'd try to ignore her cruel words.
        I dash out of the kitchen to get away from my stupidly persistent sister, and run around the deck, around to the front of the boat/ship. I run past Nya as she works on repairing the boosters-- which apparently can make the Bounry fly-- and turn around a sharp corner.
     I slam into someone head on, and fall back onto my butt. I look up and see that I've run into Lloyd. He and I havnt really talked since I've been here with my sisters. He talks more to Maya and Penny than he does me.
      I really couldn't care less about that though. He does his stuff, I do mine. But right now I need a favor from him.
     I rush to my feet and grab hold of Lloyd's shoulders.

     "I need your help!" I whisper.

        Lloyd looks at me confused and doesnt say a thing. I find that ok, and lay out what I need him for.
       "Maya won't leave me alone! Can you pretty, pretty please distract her? Just long enough so I can get away?" I plead.

       Lloyd smiles awkwardly and I sigh. I release him from my grasp and take a step back. The master of Energy brushes out his outfit, and agrees to help me.
     I hear Maya getting closer and bid Lloyd a quick thanks. Afterwards, I bolt off down the side of the boat, heading for Cole's room.
        I skip down the stairs and head down the hall. Stopping at Cole's room, I knock on his door, and hear a 'come in'. I hurriedly dip inside and shut the door behind me.
      Cole watches me from the door, and his eyebrow arches. Curiosity flashes in his eyes.
     "What's going on?" He hums.

           "Maya.... won't..... buzz... off..." I pant.
     

          Cole laughs and gets out of bed. He comes over to my side, and rests his hand on my shoulder.
      "Have you tried ignoring her?"

           "Several... times."

=Maya's PoV=

        I slowly pace down the right side of the flightless ship, following my idiotic sister, Azura.
My blood boils at the mere mention of her dreadful name. I hate her with a burning passion. If only the others could see how aweful and evil she really is.
       I turn the corner and find Lloyd staring off into space, with his back to me. I bet that Azura was just here fumbling her words around with him.
      I let out a fake, yet convicing giggle, and let Lloyd know Im here. He turns around calmly and faces me. I know that he and Kai kinda like me. So, I often tease them and get them stumbling nonsensical things.
        "Oh, hey Maya." He waves.

             "Hey Lloyd!~ What's up?" I sing.

        "Nothing much. I was just on my way to the training course. Try to work on my speed reactions."
     
      I mentally roll my eyes. Like I cared about that. I force a smile, and tilt my head.
     "Have you seen Azura? I've been looking for her. I need to tell her something about... well, never mind. It's not important. But have you seen her?" I act.

       Lloyd shakes his head, and says 'No'.

       ('Liar.')

          "Alright, well if you see her, let me know. Mmkay? It's Really important. Well, in any case, see you around, handsome..."

         I watch as a blush crosses Lloyd's face, before I stroll on my way. I cackle under my breath. Wrapped around my finger, just as it should be.
      Now, if I were my worthless sister, where would I run off to?
......................
        Obviously, I'd run to the one closest to me.
        And in her case, that's Cole.
Dummy. She does know that she can't hide from me, right? Well, then again she IS the dumbest thing to ever exist, So I guess not.
     Hmph.

=With Penny and Jay=
=Penny's PoV=

       Jay and I are currently playing around outside, doing target practice with our weapons of choice. Jays using his powers and striking the targets with his lightning, while I'm using throwing knives. Jay hollars "Target!" As he throws a piece of lumber up into the air.
      I throw my blade up at the lumber, and land a hit in the corner of the wood.
       Jay cackles as the lumber crashes to the earth. I roll my eyes with a smirk, and trade him places. I pick up the next piece of wood and shout the key word.

        "Target!!"

           I throw the lumber high up into the air, and put my hands over my head. An electric charge fills the air, making the hairs on my arms stick straight up. Seconds later, Jay fires a bolt of lightning at the chunk, and it bursts into splinters.
       Jay hoots a wild thing, and comes running up to me. He picks me up into his arms and dances around.

      "Gak! Jay!! Haha!" I Yelp.

         He dances around for a little longer, before he puts me down. I laugh and tell him that he's goofy.

       "Ah-ah! But you forget! Goofy is a good thing." He reminds me.

     I shake my head and smile at him. Then, we switch places again. Jay grabs a piece of lumber and hauls it up into the air. 

      I take two daggers out this time, and shoot them at the airborne piece of wood. They both strike the center of the wood, and the wood falls.
         The master of lightning claps his hands for me and says 'Not bad.'

     I jog over to him and playfully sock him in tbe shoulder.

       "Not bad? More like Awesome job! Both daggers hit the center!! It's a good job, ya goof!!"
     We share a laugh, and stare into eachothers eyes.
    My heart thumps heavily in my chest. It's been harder to ignore my possible feelings for Jay. I think my hearts making up it's mind.
        And it's leaning more towards  'Love'.
