Sky's POV

Me and my husband Shawn Mendes have 2 children together,our oldest child is 3 and her name is Avi Lee Mendes and our son is 2, his name is Luke Raul Mendes

Shawn's been on tour for the last 3 months and we miss him terribly. We FaceTime all the time, but every time we hang up the kids get upset, I haven't slept in the last few weeks because the kids keep crawling into my bed and they usually push me onto the floor

So I decided that we should surprise Shawn.

I was in the middle of packing our bags, when my phone rang signaling that Shawn was trying to FaceTime me. I quickly pushed my bags out the way so he wouldn't see them

"Hello, my love" he greeted right when I pressed the answer button

"Hey" I said, smiling big. "Where's our little munchkins?" He asked, referring to our children

"Their already in bed, they have a big day at school tomorrow" I lied, I'm keeping them out of school tomorrow so we can make our flight, but I can't tell him that

"I hate this" he said looking down."you
hate what baby?" I asked confused "this, I hate only being able to talk to you through a screen, I hate not being able to tuck the kids into bed, and I also hate not being able to be there to help you, I feel like a terrible husband and dad" he said, with a single tear sliding down his face, I felt my heart break in two

"Baby, it's ok. You're doing you're job so you can provide for us and the kids know that. You're an amazing husband and an even more amazing dad, just think about it you'll be home soon and then we will be together again" I said with a comforting smile

"4 months is not soon, baby" he said, sadly "lets talk about what you did today" I said, trying to change the subject

"Shut up" I groaned, turning over, throwing my alarm clock across the room "I'll clean it up when I get home" I mumbled, looking over at the mess

I slowly pulled myself out of bed and walked into the kids rooms

"Hey, sunshine it's time to get up" I said lightly shaking Avi Lee

"We go see Daddy?" She asked, in her cute toddler voice while stretching her arms

"Yea, are you excited?"I asked, smiling while picking out her outfit

"Duh" she said, jumping off her bed, suddenly getting a burst of energy

"Good, here's you're outfit. Get dressed while I go get you're brother out of bed" I told her, handing her the outfit
