Steve Rogers was in love with Natasha Romanoff even before he convinced her to go on a date with her. He always thought he would, that is why today as he stood in front of the love of his life holding her hands, as she was dressed in an all-white lacy dress he was ready to commit his life to her.

He had proposed her to her a year after dating because the moment they kissed, and they laughed he knew he couldn't live without her anymore. So he proposed, and despite her reluctance, she agreed to marry her charming soldier, because somehow he had charmed his way into her heart leaving a mark that wouldn't be erased anytime soon.

"I can't believe that little red and capsicle are married," Tony said as he danced with Pepper. Steve and Natasha were swaying back and forth her head resting on his shoulders.

"I think that they are a very beautiful couple," Pepper said as she looked over at the couple. She was enjoying the fact one of her best friends can now call herself a wife, and she was sure that Steve would treat her with the uttermost respect.

"I never said they weren't Pepper, I am just saying I never saw those two getting married. I am happy for them of course, it's just a bit odd."

And that's what everyone told the newlywed couple. They were an odd pairing of course, however, when you got to know the two it was obvious that they were meant to be. They were gonna be a lovely pair. And they were for one year.

Natasha and Steve have always been honest with one another. They never kept secrets because they did everything with each other, that was of course until one night Steve failed to come home from his art studios party. (He bought his own art studio and changed his name while he was there so he could grow it organically, and ether no one knew or they were respecting his wishes. His new name was Caleb Miller, while she was Sasha Miller)

Natasha was told by Steve that he would be home late and she, not being able to sleep without him in bed, decided she would just watch a movie until he came home. Things between them have been a little on edge when Natasha mentioned going to Lucus's, their next-door neighbors, party this weekend. Steve was not a fan of Lucus and how he tended to look at his wife. He and Natasha had an argument, but as always ended with a night of passion and love, but the problem seemed to stick with the couple.

It was already one in the morning and Steve was still not home so she gave him a quick call. She held the phone close to her ear for almost a minute as the phone rung waiting for Steve to answer. But he didn't.

After ten missed calls Natasha began to worry, her spy sense started to kick in and she left the apartment to go and look for him. She had a feeling in her gut that something was just not right, however, she didn't know what it was. This was her best option.

She walked to Steve's art studio, where the music was blasting and men and woman were pouring out trying to find their cars. She was surprised when Steve decided to hire these people here because while they had the best art in town, they were partiers.

She immediately smelt the horrible smell of alcohol when she walked in, this was not a place Steve would be seen at. Not her Steve. As she pushed her way through the crowd she grabbed the attention of many men trying to get her attention, she ignored them all with class and sass.

"I don't know man, I kinda just feel suffocated." She heard Steve's voice, he wasn't drunk. He couldn't get drunk and she knew that.

"How can you feel suffocated with a wife that fucking hot," His co-worker spoke up, she thought his name was Rick... or Colin. She didn't care enough to remember. She was used to his behavior the many times she has come to bring Steve his lunch, however, Steve always stuck up for her no matter what, but it didn't seem like he was going to do that now.

"It just feels like she is hiding something from me," She heard him mutter. She knew it was mad to eavesdrop on him, however, her spy instincts couldn't let her walk away. Steve and whatever his name was kept speaking but another conversation hooked Natasha's interest.

"Rumor has Caleb will be single in a few months." A drunken girl spoke to her friend, unaware that Caleb's (Steve) wife was standing beside them.

"Oh please have you seen his wife? Now I ain't gay but damn girl is smoking. I wouldn't mind tapping that ass sometime. But I don't think that's on her mind when she got herself a man like that" In other cases, Natasha would feel flattered but now she was confused. Why were such things be floating around the office like that?

"It's true, apparently he can't trust her," The drunken girl mumbled. "Probably has a man on the side, I don't blame him though if I was dating someone who was that hot I wouldn't trust them either."

"Well he is never around, he spends all his time here, he doesn't have to here party. A girl has her needs." the other woman said. Natasha started to ignore everything around her, Steve has always talked about how much he trusted her, but these rumors were getting to her head. Steve's words floating through his mind. She made her way to an area where not many people were.

She hadn't realized how much time had gone by until a hand touched her on the shoulders. She looked up to see a tall broad shoulders man staring down at her. He had longer hair than Steve that was brown instead of Steve's golden locks. His eyes green piercing down at her.
"Hey, parties over." He said and Natasha looked and saw most of the people had abandoned the office.

"Oh my bad," She mumbled gathering herself up. If there was one thing that Natasha Romanoff was not good at was feelings. She hated them. She didn't understand how they worked, and now this feeling decided to start taking over her body completely.

"My name is tyler by the way," He told her as he offered her a hand to help her up. Natasha took it unaware of what it would lead to. He pulled her up and she almost fell right over on him. They both laughed trying to maintain balance.

"I'm Sasha," She mummbled taking a step away from each other to remain respectful.

"Nice meeting you Sasha, doesn't your husband work here?" He asked and Natasha nodded her head. "Well I guess I hope to see you around sometime,"

"It was really nice meeting you Tyler, thanks for catching me," She smiled before walking away, she tried looking for Steve in the remainder of the party guest but had no luck until she heard her phone go off from a text.

Natasha sighed af his lame excuse before showing herself out of his office. This wasn't the Steve she remembered. What happened to her kind loving Steve.

This was only the beginning of their problems, as Steve becomes more distant, Natasha's emotions start scrambling all over the place, she can't control them and is too proud to ask for any help. But she secretely holds on to the thought that someone, hopefully Steve, can return and save her from herself.
