Chapter 4

Ellie's P.O.V.

*September 15, 1974, Sunday*

Isabella, Amber, and I met Professor McGonagall at the school. She told us that Professor Dumbledore is going to announce us and we are to go into the great hall. I look at Isabella and Amber.
"How are you guys on this fine day," I asked. They both look at me like I was crazy. I couldn't keep my face straight anymore and I bust out laughing. "but no seriously, are you guys ready," I asked.

"I'm as ready as I'll ever be," Isabella said with a smile. I smile back.

"Gosh, I hope I can get some good fucks buddies here," Amber said. My head whipped in her direction.

"Honestly Amber, I did not need to hear that," I say with a disturbed look on my face.

Amber busted out laughing, "Yea I guess but I better get some good dick"

"You are such a playgirl, I can't," I said, the three of us busted out laughing. I have such weird friends. This conversation shouldn't be normal but to us it is.

We calm our tits down when Professor McGonagall reenters the room we were in. She leads us to the big doors which I assume leads into the Great Hall.

I hear Dumbledore talking inside the room but can't see him because of the doors. Professor McGonagall looks at us to see if we were ready. We nodded. Once Dumbledore gave the signal to Professor McGonagall. The doors were opened to the Great hall. Every head turned our way but we were not affected by it, already used to getting lots of attention. We walk to where a stool stood with a hat on it. I look at the hat then up at Dumbledore. It seems that Dumbledore always has this twinkle in his eyes. It weirds me out but also makes me wonder what he thinks about.  The three of us look at the stool with the hat again. Dumbledore smiles kindly at us, telling us to sit on the stool. Isabella is the first to go up. She sits on the stool. Professor McGonagall puts the hat on Isabella. A minute later the hat screams "HUFFLEPUFF". Isabella gets up with a smile on her face. She holds up a peace sign at us and walks to the table that is screaming. I motion my hand to Amber so that she goes before me. She gave me a pointed look before sitting on the stool. The hat was placed on her head. The hat screams "SLYTHERIN" almost the second it's on Amber's head.  She smirks while walking to the table of green and silver.

Well, I guess I'm next. I sit down and wait for the hat to be placed on my head.

"Oh, Oh. very interesting, very powerful." the hat says out loud

"You can make the Marauders run for their money."The hat says while laughing out loud

"yes, yes I know where to put you" "GRYFFINDOR" the hats screams

I get up and walk to the table screaming with joy with the colors of red and gold. I sit next to a girl with red hair and green eyes. She looks at me and gives me a big smile. I give her a smile back.

"Hello, my name is Lily Evans," the girl that I now know the name of.

"Hello Lily, I suppose you already know my name," I say with a shy smile. Gosh, why am I so shy around new people. I should be used to meeting people by now.

"I do, and that's Mary Macdonald, "Lily pointed at a pretty tan girl with long black hair and blue eyes. Lily pointed at another girl with short blond hair and hazel eyes named Dorcas Meadows. Alice Fortescue was a pale girl with blonde hair and green eyes, and Marlene Mckinnon was a very pretty girl with fair skin, gold blonde hair and light green eyes.

"Nice to meet all of you," I said

"You too," they all said with smiles on their faces

Once the food appeared, let me just say I felt like I was in heaven. The food was amazing, Hogwarts had just won me over. Food is my best friend, wait no it's my life, so if you can make some bomb ass food you are my new best friend. I chatted with some potential new friends. Throughout the whole dinner, we got to know each other better. We finished dinner and we got up to make our way to the Gryffindor common room. On our way to the Gryffindor common room, Lily was telling me what steps I had to go over. Also that the stairs move so I have to be careful with that. Finally after what seemed like thousands of steps, which it probably was. We made it to the common room. When the girls and I enter, I was amazed with the common room. It felt so homely, I loved it. Then when I look towards the fireplace I see 4 boys sitting on the couches. The 4 boys turn around when they hear us enter. A boy with messy hair, hazel eyes with glasses literary jumps up and runs to us.

"LILY-FLOWER" the boy screams. I look at Lily very much amused with this boy.

"Leave me alone you arrogant toerag," Lily said to the"arrogant toerag" with a face red from anger.

"Now Lily that isn't very nice," I said going between the girls walking to the front. Making myself visible to the boys. I look at the boy called "arrogant toerag". I look at Lily that gives me a look that said that I shouldn't talk to this guy. So I did the thing that she didn't want me to do. Talk to the guy.

"Hello, I'm guessing that your name isn't actually arrogant toerag," I said with a smirk

"It's not, I'm James Potter," The boy named James Potter gave me a weak smile. I can tell that he was not happy that Lily just rejected him but I can also tell that this has happened more than once. I look at the other boys wanting to get their names as well. A boy with long black and silver eyes walks up to me.

"Hello babe, my name is Sirius Black," He said with a smirk on his face. A Black in Gryffindor now that is interesting. I look at Sirius and then a smirk makes its way on my face. "Nice to meet you, love," I wink at him. I saw his face turn pink a little. How cute.

I turn to a boy with sandy colored hair, chocolate eyes, and scars on his face. I don't stare too long at his scars, didn't want him to get uncomfortable. "Remus Lupin," the boy said. I smile at him before looking at the other boy. The boy had a rat-like face, mousy brown hair with blue eyes.

"I'm-m P-et-er Pett-igre-w" The rat-like boy stutters. I smile kindly at him.

"Nice to meet all y'all," I said with a smile on my face.

"Same here," the boys said. But of course, Sirius had to be different and say "my pleasure".

"I have a question tho, why did the hat say that you can make us run for our money," Sirius said with a small frown probably thinking that no one can be better than his group.

"hmm, so you guys are the Marauders," I smirked at the boys. Ohhh, I'm going to have so much fun.

"Yea but what did the hat mean, no one can be better than us," James said. I just smirk at the boys before going up the stairs that lead to the girl's rooms. Leaving the girls in the common room with the boys. I walk into my room that I asked Dumbledore to make separate from all the other girls. So I have a room all to myself. I look around my room, it's pretty big but it's also very plain right now. So I get to work, I make my room just how I would like it. My room is a blueish-grey, with a queen-size bed and I had a window seat in my room. When you look up at the ceiling you can see the sky. Which I bet will look so cool at night as you'll be able to see the stars. I had a cute desk in the corner. A closet that has an extension charm on it. Also, have 5 bean bags in my room. A record player on top of a bin that had lots of different records. Plus a small bed next to my bed for Crystal. I take a shower and get ready for bed. I lay on my bed looking up at my ceiling to see lots of stars before finally falling asleep. The last thought that was in my head before I slept was that tomorrow is my first day of classes.
