Chapter 10

(Oct. 6, 1974, Sunday)

Ellie's P.O.V.

After breakfast, we all went to the common room to hang out but it started to get really noisy in the room so I offered them to come to my room. Now I know the boys can't come up to the girl's dorm. But I wanted to go to my room because I love it so much. So I thought of a way so that the boys would be able to go into my room without having to go up the stairs. The boys and I walk up to their dorm room and I look for an empty wall. Where I make a doorway to my room. And when I open the door the boys were able to see my room for the first time.

"Woahhhh, your room is so cool" Peter goes to sit down on one of the bean bags. And continues to look around the room. Remus also occupies one of the other bean bags. While James and Sirius both lay on my bed.

"So now you see why I wanted to come here instead, I love it so much" I twirl around my room. I lay down next to James and push him a little just to mess with him. He pushed me back which started the push war. And it ended with James on the floor groaning. I just laugh and look over the edge of the bed. I reach out my hand to help him back up on my bed. He takes my hand but instead of him pulling himself up he forcefully pulls me down on the floor with him. I groan once I touch the floor. And I just hear James full-on laughing at me while rolling around on the floor. I just shake my head and get up from the floor. I looked around the room and noticed that Remus had a book in his hand, Sirius was looking at all my pieces of vinyl and Peter was eyeing my candy jar. "You can have some of my candy Peter I don't mind." And once that left my mouth Peter immediately grabs the jar and starts to eat the candy.

"OHH before I forget - ummm I just wanted to give you something Remus. Please don't freak out on me," I nervously scratch my neck. And walk over to my bag to get the potion.

"Why do you sound like you are about to confess your love to Remus," Sirius barks out a laugh after finishing what he said. I just shake my head. And slowly walk over to Remus with the potion in my hand. What do I say, do I just give it to him, would he even know what it is by just looking at it. Ahhh, I don't want him to get upset with me. Once I made it to Remus I shove the potion into his hands carefully.

"Umm, that's - umm, that's" I shuffle my feet a little and I don't even try to make eye contact with him. I take a deep breath in and finally say what is on my mind. "So um that is wolfsbane, and it really helps you know and you won't feel like crap anymore if you take it now."

Everyone's eyes widened at what I said. "How did you know and when did you make this," Remus said timidly.

"Well you see umm, I kind of knew when I first met you, NOT saying that it was obvious because it's not, but I have a friend who is a werewolf as well and kind of assumed the same with you, and when you got sick before a full moon confirmed it for me. Also, I made this a while ago to send to my friend, and since I made extra I decided to give some to you too so that you won't suffer." During that whole rant, not once did I look into anyone's eyes. My eyes stayed glued to my shuffling feet.

"So your not scared of me, you don't find me disgusting? I'm a monster" Remus says

"WHAT of course not, why would I? And Remus you are not a monster, you are completely harmless, you couldn't even hurt a fly. Sirius told me that you fold your socks, do you really think a monster would do that. Also when you turn into a werewolf you have no control over yourself so don't beat yourself up with that. With the Wolfsbane now you would have more control over yourself. So stop saying all that stuff!" I rant.

Remus tackled me into a hug. Oh umm wow, I didn't expect this. I immediately hug him back.

"Thank you so much for the potion," Remus said to me. I give him a huge smile. Happy to be able to help others.

"Oh my Merlin, is this the new song you are working on" Sirius exclaimed excitedly. I look over to him and see that he was flipping through a notebook I had on my nightstand.

"Hey! now now, you can't be looking at that" I snatch the notebook away from Sirius. And safely put the notebook away from the view of the boys.

"Whatttt?! Why not, I'm a huge fan. Can you sing us just a snip it of the song," Sirius whines out.

"That's more of a reason for you not to hear the song and wait just like the rest of my fans," I say. I look around to see what the other boys are up to. Remus was reading a book, Peter was asleep on one of the bean bags, Sirius was in front of me giving me his puppy dog eyes and James was on my bed playing with a snitch.

"How about we play some quidditch instead," I grin out. Excited to be able to start playing again. The second I purpose the idea, James looks up at me just as excited.

"YES! let's play quidditch," James says and jumps off my bed to run to his room to get his quidditch stuff. Remus goes to wake up peter and leaves the room as well. I go over to my closet to get my quidditch stuff and walk into the boy's room.
