Chapter 7

Ellie's P.O.V. 

(Oct. 5, 1974, Saturday) 

I'm so glad it's a Saturday because now I can relax... Not really, Lily, Marlene, Isabella, and Amber all storm into my room like it was the end of the world. They start to hit me with pillows and jump on my bed. Crystal jumped off my bed and went to the corner to sleep. I wish it was that easy for me. 

"Ughhhh, leave me alone, I want to sleep," I said. It's too early for them to be waking me up. I spent almost all night exploring the castle and fixing some of my pranks that I set up. I just want to sleep, is that too much to ask for. 

"Noooo get up and get dressed, we are going to Hogsmeade," Isabella said. 

"Noooooooooo goooo away," I throw a pillow at them. 

"Crystal protect me from these monsters," I said. Can a girl just sleep in peace around here? Crystal just yawns a little and goes back to sleep. 

"TRADER, "I yelled. Why today of all days. Why can't I just relax? Why do people have to be so troublesome? The girls started to hit me with pillows again. I groan once again. I can hear their giggling. They are enjoying this.

"OK OK OK, I'm getting up," I get up with a nasty glare. I'm so done with people today.  It's not even funny.  I'm in a really bad mood now. Today is going to be a bad day for everyone. Since they made suffer, everyone is going to suffer. 

I give the girls another glare before I go into the bathroom.  I get dressed and walk out of the bathroom. I walk to the girls now ready to go out but I wasn't happy at all. They all have smiles on their faces when they see that I was done getting dressed. It didn't seem like they noticed that I wasn't in a good mood or thought that I was just joking with them. BUT OH OH OH, how wrong they are. 

I grab Crystal and walk out with the girls. We walk to the Great Hall. It was awfully quiet. Like shouldn't other people be wandering around the halls? I swear if it's an ungodly hour I'm going to kill someone. I remain calm though because I don't want to kill Crystal now. When I walk into the Great Hall I see that there was barely anyone here. 

"What the fuck, what the actual fuck, what time is it, why am I here," I said. That's it I was done. No way did these girls wake up at such a bad time. I'm not a morning person, not only that though. I was up all night. I don't want to be up right now.

"well... It is around 6:00," Lily said. I look at her with a blank face. I can tell that I am scaring her a little bit, but do I care. HELL NO. I silently walk to the Gryffindor table and sit down. I didn't even touch the food. I just sat there planning my revenge. What can I do, to get back at them? Now you might think that I'm being a little petty but I love my beauty sleep. And if I don't get it then there is a BIG problem. 

--------------------Two Hours Later

I think about 2 hours had passed, I don't know. I just sat here thinking about some things... I know for a fact though that it got really loud in the Great Hall. I hear a loud bang right next to me but I don't react to it. I'm still trying to plan my murder.

James Potter P.O.V  (oh oh oh, we are mixing it up a bit)

 I bang my hands on the table, right next to Ellie. She didn't even flinch or look at me after. It's like she isn't even in her body. But I just sit next to her and look at Evans.  

"Hello Lily-pad," I said to Evans. I give her my dashing smile. But instead of her blushing like all the other girls, she glares at me. "Go on a date with me Evans," 

"I'M NOT GOING ON A DATE WITH YOU, Potter," Lily said. I feel my heart break a little. But I just kept my smirk on my face, hiding my pain. The rest of the boys sit down and get comfortable. 

"Hello beautiful ladies," Sirius said. "How are you ladies doing today," 

----------- Some talking later  (I'm too lazy to write more) just James trying to flirt with Lily and Sirius being the flirt he is. 

"Hey, is Ellie ok, she hasn't said a thing," Remus said looking concerned.  

I look at her and now notice that Remus was right. Usually, during lunch, Ellie is joking around with us but she is not even doing anything but staring intensely at a pancake.  I wave my hand in front of her face but she is still in own little world. 

"Ellie, you there," I said. "Ellieeeeeeeee, Hellooooooooo," " Hello, Hello, Hello," I start poking her repeatedly. Sirius starts poking her too. "ELLIE" I look into her eyes and see that it was a little glazed. I start shaking her. "ELLIE," 

Her beautiful green eyes went back to normal. She looks back at me then looks around the table. She glares a little when she looks at the girls. 

"Hey, you okay, you spaced out," I said shaking her shoulders a little. 

"Mhm, I'm fine, I'm good really good," Ellie said. There was something in her voice that told me she was up to something. I look at her face closer.  I noticed that her eyes are a greenish-blue color. She has some freckles dotting around her nose and cheeks. She has these full lips that are curved a little on the side. I snap out of a trance I had somehow put myself into. I narrow my eyes a little at her. 

" Are you sure you are ok because the way you said that made it seem like something was wrong or you are up to something, " I said. I feel like I already know that Ellie was up to something and I want to know what. 

"No, I'm fine, " Ellie said. I give her a look and just shake my head. "When are we going to Hogsmeade, " "I went to be back early, I'm really tired, " 

"I think the first carriage is going to leave soon, so we can head over there now,"  I said. 

"Yea lets go now, I need to get a lot of things,  " Amber said. The rest of the girls nod their heads and start to get up. Ellie picks up a muffin and starts to walk with us. She eats her muffin quietly the whole way to the carriage. She didn't talk to anyone the whole walk either. Which was strange because she was never this quiet.  

I watch her just to make sure that she is ok and isn't left by herself. I noticed that she was about to run into a pole. I grab her arm and pull her to the side. She looks at me then looks at the pole. 

"Thanks," She said in a low voice. Ok, that's it once we get to Hogsmeade, I'm going to pull her away from the others and talk to her. We made it to the carriage and we all squish into the cart. Since there are 8 of us and only 6 people can fit in one. I ask Lily if she wants to sit on my lap. But of course, she said no and said that she was going to another get another carriage. So the girls decided that they were going to another carriage. Ellie looks at the girls before she decided to stay with us.
