trains

your love was like a train
and I loved to sit in the cosy pavillon

running away from the reality
I just kept looking towards the seemingly endless horizon

and with the help of your love

I got to see more landscapes I could have ever imagined

I got to know myself a little bit better with each travel

but someday
you increased the speed
because you loved the feeling of velocity

and that's when I knew that this train
wasn't the perfect one for me anymore

even though it seemed to
it turned out differently after some time passed by

I loved your ride
but it didn't agree with my needs

because you were so fast
that I couldn't see the landscape

so I jumped without fear

knowing that I'd hurt myself when I'd crash on the stiff ground

knowing that I'd be stuck in this place for some time

knowing that I'd need some time to learn to love this landscape

until another train will pass by
driving just in the speed I like

and still
even if I decided to leave your train
I'm still thankful that you've taken me so far
