trains
your love was like a train
and I loved to sit in the cosy pavillonrunning away from the reality
I just kept looking towards the seemingly endless horizonand with the help of your love
I got to see more landscapes I could have ever imagined
I got to know myself a little bit better with each travel
but someday
you increased the speed
because you loved the feeling of velocityand that's when I knew that this train
wasn't the perfect one for me anymoreeven though it seemed to
it turned out differently after some time passed byI loved your ride
but it didn't agree with my needsbecause you were so fast
that I couldn't see the landscapeso I jumped without fear
knowing that I'd hurt myself when I'd crash on the stiff ground
knowing that I'd be stuck in this place for some time
knowing that I'd need some time to learn to love this landscape
until another train will pass by
driving just in the speed I likeand still
even if I decided to leave your train
I'm still thankful that you've taken me so far[23/05/2019]
