This is the second addition to my Kingdom Hearts reader insert story! This takes place in the KH 1 storyline. My stories contain minor tweaks to the original story.

It was true, Y/n was in a place Sora couldn't reach, but not fully. What Riku failed to notice was after her heart seemed to disappear a small piece was left behind, the piece still locked away by Aqua's spell. That piece found it's home in the very person she wanted to save, Riku. No matter how deep he would fall into darkness, she would be the last bit of light left inside him. She could always keep him safe. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Riku had lost his fight against Sora. In his fit of rage he was confronted by a hooded figure, the figure that promised Y/n she would die. Riku trusted the stranger, opening his heart up to him, giving his heart up. However, Y/n was there, keeping the darkness from having Riku. No matter how hard the cloaked figure tried, Riku could never fully be lost as long as Y/n was there. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sora was gone and Kairi was awake. When the man possessing Riku known as Ansem attempted to attack Kairi Riku restrained the man in order to help Kairi escape. She couldn't be too sure, but Kairi thought she saw a girl standing a little bit behind Ansem and Riku, smiling at her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ansem was gone, struck down by Sora himself. As Ansem was separated from Riku, another heart with ripped from Riku too, Y/n. As her heart was no longer tied to Riku, she was free to fall into the darkness, as it should be. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Empty. That's all you felt. You were falling, and you could feel yourself plunging deeper and deeper into darkness. It was hard to remember your own name, but you could never forget their name. The one most important to you. You held onto the image of their smiling in your mind as you began to feel tired. As the temptation of giving in became too much for you a voice reached out to you
"Y/n"
It was their voice. If felt like you were suddenly filled with warmth and a blinding light filled your vision as memories painfully ran through you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ >Riku Ending<
