*Chapter 4 At Dawn

On the next day at near the forbidden forest.

Ink pov.

The sun rises and the group of vampire hunter had returned from the night. Ink was just waiting for Cross to return from the hunt but he could not see him. "Where is, cross he should be back with the group? Ink was starting to get worried. he went up to Undyne and asked her."Undyne where is Cross?" Undyne turns and look at Ink and says "We lost him during our hunting and we did try to look him but he was nowhere to be seen so we stop searching and head back" she says it as if not caring that Cross was alive or not."How could you do that, he still could be alive in there!" Ink shout it at Undyne. 'Look Ink, once he lost, he died. The vampire must have killed him already, that is no way he could survive" she says it without remorse no sorry in her soul   "No!" Ink won't believe what Undyne say he runs. Run back to his art studio and starts packing. " He not dead I won't believe her. if she does not want to find, Cross then I go search for him and bring back home. I know there are vampires in the forest, but it won't stop him from searching for my best friends. he was my friend'.

[Flash Back]

'Hey! why are your eyes are so weird, you weirdo!' The kids from the village are making fun of a small kid. 'Stop it my eyes are not weird!' the small kid cries out. That small kid was ink. he had moved into the village with her mother. The villagers were not warm welcoming little Ink and her mother. little ink would get bullied by kids from the village. "Hey! Cut it out leave him alone or else' another kid came to help little ink. "Or else what? are you going to cry out for mommy?' They mocked back. 'Or else like this' he took a small knife and shows a look that could give you nightmares for life.

(The kid pull out a small knife and shows a scary face)

By just once looked the kid ran away not wanting to come closer. They were too scared of him. Once the bullies are gone and little cross went to help little ink."Thank you, for helping me but why save me?" little ink asked in wounder why would he help him."Because it's wrong to bully and I want to help' he spoke and give him a big smile. My name is cross what your name?' Cross, asked a raise a hand want to the shank with little ink. 'Mm m my name is Ink' ink grabs his hand and shake.' Well, Ink it is nice to meet you ink could we be friends?'.' Friends?' little was a little shock no want to make friends with him. I understand if you don-' before cross could finish his sentence.' no wait, I do want to be your friend!' Little Ink responded.  "Wow! really okay then let play together, I know there is a good place we could play. "Okay!"

Little ink and Little Cross had been Close friends ever since there were kids and then they become best friends.

As I was still looking for cross the sky had already turned dark. It cold and scary in the forest. I have been searching for him for hours now and no sign of him, but I still want to search for him. I felt a bit tired and I decided I wanted to take a break. I took out my sketchbook and start thinking about what I wanted to draw? Then suddenly I saw a small bat lend on the tree branch. The bat has a cute blue eyeliner, I admired by the looks then I got an idea on what I want to draw. I decided to draw that bat. The bat stays completing still as if he knows what I'm doing. Once I was done the bat was not at the tree branch any more then it lands on my shoulder as if wanted to look at my artwork." Do you like it?" and then it flew away.
