♥ Liked by princeeric, misscapamerica, and 998, 993 others starfall every time we sit down to film a video for you guys we end up laughing or crying. maybe someday we'll be able to compose ourselves long enough for a yt video. but in the meantime, buckle up. this is gonna be a long one.
we can't hide the fact that we hang out, we never have and we never will. it's just impossible at this point. yes, we see each other. but you see the singer and the actor out shopping. we see two people just spending time together, trying on all the clothes we can before the saleslady gets mad and we have to buy something. you see us "making an appearance at a movie premiere". we see two people bonding over a movie the other was a part in, and something they're very proud of that they would like to share.
there are so many things you don't see. you don't see us coming home to each other after a long day and not having to say a word to each other, just falling asleep. you don't see the late nights when we can't sleep, or how horrible i am at helping rehearse his lines. or how he dances around the house when i play the piano. or when he holds back my hair when i'm sick. and then learned how to braid it.
while i'm sharing, i figure it's time you all hear it so we can move on and get it over with. i don't care how many people like this or how many hate comments i'll probably get. i don't care. i'm not afraid of what you meaningless comment you can type as you sit with envy at home or whatever stupid headline TMZ will come up with. i don't care.
IT WAS ME.
it was me, and i don't care. for the record, no one else did either. not any of my lovers, my friends, family. that kind of shit doesn't matter to anyone. but i know people have been asking questions about my love life long before tom got involved. it was me. i dumped eric. i dumped tom. no one cares. and until further notice, this is the current state of our relationship. happy. this is your reminder to go back to basics sometimes.
tell that person you love them. kiss often. strive to make pina coladas half as great as the ones tommy makes. watch mamma mia with your friends and make sure they catch you when you dramatically fall off the counter mid-performance at 2AM. don't forget to watch far from home when it comes out in theatres. someone you know may make an appearance (:
