He leans his head on his shoulder, where there is a walkie-talkie. "There are kids in room 312. Any suggestions?" he says into it, his gun still pointed.
"Take them to the library. Shoot anyone that gets out of line," a voice says from the speaker. The guy in the room moves quickly to the corner where we are and he shoves us in front of him, never taking his gun off of us. Outside, a kid tries to run away. The man sees, and shoots. He falls, lifeless. A couple kids scream.
He walks back into the classroom, does one last scan, and then leaves with the group.
But he forgot something. Me and Collin. He didn't see us behind the desk. We survived.

"Look, Lenny. They're doing the best they can," my co-worker, Dylan says to me.
"There are kids in there, Dylan. We could be their only chance at survival." Dylan and I work in the homeland security department in the FBI. We are stationed in Denver, and we were called to the scene after the school went into red alert lock-down. We've been trying to figure out who it is that's doing this for the past half-hour, but we haven't found anything yet.
"If you don't want to listen, then I won't talk."
"I'm fine with you talking, I'm just scared that nobody will survive, and that's a big problem."
