I slowly exit the elevator and walk into the closet that we ended up at. I look around the corner for any bad guys. It's all clear, and I signal Collin to follow. We tip-toe across the hallway and up to the library doors. I peek in the door window, and I don't see anyone. I open the door and walk in.
Then I see something that I probably don't want to see. A body on the floor with a bullet hole in her stomach. But it's not just any body.
Collin slowly walks over and kneels next to her.
"Sis?" He says in her ear.
"Casey!" He shouts in her ear. Her eyes slit open slightly.
"Collin..." she says. "I'm so sorry."
"Don't be. It's not your fault."
"Can you do me a favor?"
"Anything, sis."
"Get those bastards for me, would ya?"
"That kind of already was on my to-do list."
"I love you, Collin." And then she nods off. I walk over to him and kneel next to him. He's staring at the floor. She was the whole reason we haven't just escaped when we had the chance.
"Well," I say. "Since we are here, how about we save everyone."
"That sounds good. Let's do this."
We search around and find the dead bad guys and steal their guns, as Lenny told us to. Collin picks up his phone and calls Lenny. A couple rings later he answers. He puts it on speaker. "Hey Lennie," he says.
"Hey guys, how's it going?" Lenny asks.
"Well, depends on what you want to talk about. Do you want good or bad news first?" I ask.
"I'll take the good news."
"Well, we're in the library. Bad news, we just found out that Collin's sister is dead."
"Well, that's not good. Have you found the hostages yet?"
"We were just about to search."
"Well, good luck and be careful. The bad guys could be anywhere."
"Thanks, sir." I say, then hang up the phone and hand it to Collin.
We start to walk around, checking every corner, and we find some in every corner. But I still haven't found Amy yet. And that could be a problem.
