I woke up to my alarm going off at 8 and immediately called my mom.
"Hello?"
"Hey mommy can you get Alaiyah ready she's coming with me to my shoot." I told her.
"Yes baby how was the party?" She asked me.
"I'll tell you all about it when I get there." I told her.
"Oh lord did Ivan do something?" She asked me.
"No ma why you always think he doing something wrong?" I laughed.
"I'm just making sure. He doesn't have the best track record." She said.
"Ivan is good mom you don't have to worry yourself." I told her.
"Ivan isn't good he's a proven cheater." She said. "But I'll let it go." She said quickly before I could start defending him.
"I'll be there soon ma."
I told her.
"I'll see you sweetie." She said and we hung up.
As soon as I put my phone down it was ringing.
Auggy.
I rolled my eyes at the thought of how he's calling after I texted him the time and location of my shoot so he had no reason to call me.
"Hello?" I said.
"Good morning I was just calling to make sure you were up." He told me making a smile creep onto my lips.
Since my first photo shoot Aug had always called me before to make sure I was up and ready and able to make it there. It was sweet.
"Thanks Aug I just got off the phone with my mom." I told him.
"Good I'll see you there." He told me.
"Okay." I said hanging up.
I sighed trying to figure out how within 12 hours August managed to insert himself into my life with barely any objection from me.
I got up getting into the shower.
When I got out it was 8:30 so I grabbed my outfits for my shoot and put one of them on so I wouldn't have to change as soon as I get there.
By time I left it was 8:50 my mom lives about 10 minutes away so I was making good time.
"Take away the big shirts, the tattoos, the sweatpants and vans. Okay I don't wear no make up no purse in my hands." I sang along to Ella Mai blasting through my car.
"My resting bitch face is mistaken for the mean girl but what if I told you there's nothing I want more in this world than somebody who loves me naked someone who never asks for love but knows how to take it. Are you that somebody who sees a wall and breaks it? Are you ready to fight just to see what's lost behind my flaws can you love me naked." I sang along happily.

Ivan called interrupting the song.
"Hey baby." I said as our face time connected and I put my phone in the vent holder.
"Hey beautiful you on your way to the shoot?" He asked.
"Nah I'm on my way to my momma house to get Alaiyah cause she begged to come." I told him.
