"Look mamas you crack it like dis. Then put it in tha bowl and throw out tha shell." I said while demonstrating how to crack an egg for Alaiyah.
Right now we're up making breakfast for India since she's still sleep.
"Okay daddy I think I could do it!" She said excitedly.
She was sitting on the island while we cooked since I didn't have a step ladder for her.
India didn't end up going to a hotel because Kianna ended up coming back that night to get AJ anyways because her momma wanted him for the weekend. But he's coming back Monday so everything good. I just wish him and Lai would've gotten more time together but it's cool.
"Okay baby huh." I said handing her an egg.
I watched as she carefully cracked the egg against the counter top and took both hands putting it into the bowl carefully and throwing the shell into the garbage I had pulled out next to me.
"Did I do good?" She asked looking up at me.
"Yes that was perfect." I told her and she smiled clapping like always. I love when she does it, it's the cutest thing ever to me.
"Na' we have to add the salt, pepper, cheese, and milk befo we stir them." I told her and she nodded paying close attention.
I poured some milk into the eggs and measured out some cheese so it'll be easier for Lai to put it in.
"Here you go put this in tha bowl." I told her handing her the cheese.
She poured it carefully and clapped when she was done.
"Here's the pepper but don't put too much just shake some out and I'll tell you when to stop. Okay?" I said.
"Mhm." She nodded taking it from me.
She shook a few times before I told her to stop.
I put some salt in and handed her the whisk.
"Ooo whats dis daddy? A wand?" She asked.
I laughed shaking my head.
"Naw baby that's a whisk. It's a different kind of spoon basically."I told her.
"I get to stir mommy's eggies all by myself?" She asked me looking hopeful.
"Yuh just be careful alright." I told her and she nodded starting.
"Ooo can't do too fast cause it'll spill out the bowl right daddy?" She said as she stirred them.
"That's right baby." I nodded as she continued.
"Ooo dis fun." She said actually using the whisk properly.
Baby girl is so smart I'm so proud of my baby I'm so proud to be a daddy to both of my beautiful kids.
"I think it's all mixed daddy." She said stopping and looking at it.
"Yeah it is baby. We going to set this to the side while we make mommy's pancakes now." I told her putting everything back up that we didn't need anymore.
"Oooo almost forgot. Mommy likes Cayenne pepper in ha eggs." I said grabbing it out the cabinet and putting some in the bowl.
"Mix that up while I get the pans out for the bacon and pancakes." I told Lai.
"Okay!" She said going back to stirring the eggs.
"Ok I'm done." She said.
