"My lady please don't go too far, it could be dangerous ."

"Nothing is going to happen, lets go!!"

Esma was nervous, they were already too far from the safety of the palace. She would be happy to do this some other day but now, in times of war, was too dangerous specially for two young ladies one of them being princess Samira, she could become a valuable asset for the enemy should they end in their hands.

Esma was Samira's servant, but after many years and spending their childhood together they became best friends, inseparable like many will say.

Samira missed having contact with fresh air and the touch of the sun in her skin.

They had arrived at valley, the fresh grass glowed with the sunlight it was a perfect day as no clouds could be seen in the sky.

Samira embraced the beautiful scene and begun swirling around, just like a child, her arms wide open as she looked up the the perfect and warm sun. Her white chiffon dress flew as free as she was feeling in that moment.

"My lady your veil."

Esma was worried about Samira's veil falling off. In Kalonese culture the princess' face could not be seen by anyone other than her husband. It was only after her wedding that people in the kingdom will be able to see her face. All her life Samira was only allowed to show her beautiful green eyes in public, her chiffon veil will cover the rest of her face.

"Don't be silly, who's going to come all the way here ? besides you know I've been locked down for too long."

Her dress spun along with her long dark hair, she was glowing and her laugh could be heard from a fair distance.

The wind blew harder making her veil, now in her shoulders to fly away.

"Ohh for all the gods." Esma shouted, she was too nervous and ran to follow her princess' veil.

She kneel down to pick up the veil only to find a pair of leather boots next to it, she looked up and a handsome man with warrior clothing was standing there. He wasn't looking at her, his gaze was already fixed in Samira who had stopped spinning around and had her green eyes on the strange man.

Esma ran towards her lady, to say she was terrified will be an understatement, warped the veil around Samira's face as fast was she could and walked her away and towards the woods. Samira was stunned, her gaze still fixed on that strange man and his in hers, only the depth of the forest broke their glance.

"My lady, I'm afraid we've gone too far, than man was clearly a warrior and didn't look familiar at all to me, we need to go to the palace right now, it won't take longer before he advises his army that you're here, if they kidnap you the entire kingdom will be in serious problems."

"He doesn't know who I am, my name was never mentioned, but yes we better go now, if father finds out about this ....."

Prince Philip wanted the war to be over, if it was up to him only ashes will be left of the kingdom of Kalon. He missed home and he missed Alice, whom he once promised he'll marry one day. King James, his father was wise, he knew that burning down Kalon will only bring them trouble, they were after Kalon's precious textiles and spices which will not be fund in a burn down village.

"A war demands courage and military skills, but more than that son, it demands patience, always remember, a patient king is a wise king."

His father will say every time he suggested the violent end.

He decided to take a walk away from the camp, he wondered what Alice will be doing in that moment, he promised her to be back soon and its been a month already.

He was totally aware that steeping into Kalonese land was almost suicidal, but he trusted his warrior skills and he was right about it, no solider that has crossed his path at battle survived to tell.

The deep forest was over and behind it was a beautiful valley and a lake with crystalline waters, but what surprised him the most wasn't the prefect landscape at sight, was the beautiful dark haired woman who was spinning with around with open arms while looking at the sun. For some reason it made him smile a little, but after her green eyes made contact with his blue ones he got lost in them and everything begun to happen in slow motion.

He watched as someone wrapped a white fabric around her neck and her beautiful face, only leaving to be seen those green orbs that he found so hard to break contact with, she was then pushed back into the dark forest and disappeared.

In the way back to the camp he wondered if what he just saw was a mirage or real. His gut told him he needed to keep his mouth shut otherwise he'll cause her trouble so he didn't mentioned a word to anyone.
