Philip never came into the chambers that night, Samira wondered where he could have been but at the same time was relieved, after their most recent encounter things will be a little awkward between them.

In the morning Esma walked in with Samira's breakfast and helped her getting dressed for the day. Esma tied her corset in complete silence until Samira spoke.

"Have you seen Prince Philip this morning?"

She did not want to see him but at the same time she had this awful feeling and her gut was telling her that his absence was not a good sign.

"No milady, I did not. Is everything alright?"

"I don't know, I haven't seen him since yesterday afternoon."

Esma remained in silence, she agreed with Samira, something was definitely off with the prince, however she preferred not say anything and aggravate more their already delicate situation.

"You should not worry about that, you know how men are." Esma replied in a dismissive tone.

Samira turned around to face her fiend, a puzzled look was evident on her face.

"How are men? I'm not willing to make things easy for him, I'm not going to be a submissive wife."

Esma held Samira's both hands and sat her on the edge of the bed.

"Samira, you should not interfere in your husband's proceedings."

"I feel like I was thrown into this new life and I just don't know what to expect or what's expected from me, all I know Esma, is I won't settle for anything that I'm not comfortable with."

"Let's hope everything will turn out just fine, Okay. Do you want to go for a walk? I heard the gardens here are gorgeous."

"That will be great, let's go."

That morning Samira and Esma walked taking in the warm sun and the beauty of the gardens of the castle.

"I hope the Esparcian castle is to your liking your majesty." A masculine voice came form behind as they walked. Samira and her maid turned to see who was talking to find Prince Henry handsomely smiling.

"Prince Henry." Samira said while nodding and the same time Esma bowed to the prince.

"I hope you're not getting bored in this huge stone cell." Henry said taking a few steps towards Samira, his eyes locked in her.

"Please don't say such thing, my maid and I have been very pleased with the accommodations and the hospitality of you staff."

"I'm pleased you feel that way and if you ever need anything please let me know, I'll gladly help you."

"Thank you."

"You're taking a walk? Perhaps you could use some company."

"Oh no, don't disturb your self. Esma, my maid is a great companion, I'm sure his majesty has better tings to do than take a morning walk in the garden with a princes."

"I actually don't, you married my brother I think we should know each other better."

"Alright your highness let's take a walk then."

They walked in comfortable silence for a while, Esma remained a few steps behind. After some time Henry spoke.

"How's Philip behaving?"

"I'm sorry..." Samira replied confused by the unexpected question.

"How's my brother treating you Samira?"
