Chapter 30

Melanie's POV

"Triplets?!" I said. "But there was only one head in the ultrasound!"

"That's what I said," Cam said laughing. "But the doctor said that they hide behind each other."

"Okay. Now that's out of the way, what are the genders?" Brent asked.

"Well there was the original girl, and two boys," Cam said with the biggest smile that I have ever seen. I'm so happy for them.

"Can we go see them? Pwease?" I asked with the puppy-dog eyes.

"Sure. Just tell the guys that they can head over," Cam said leading us to Erin's room.

We walked in and saw the two little surprises.

"Awww." I sat sitting down. "What are their names?"

"Well, I picked Kendall," Erin said holding Kendall. (AN: yeah... That's the girl.. Probably spelt it wrong buttttt ._. Who cares? bruh)

"And I picked out Joseph but you're calling him Joey," Cam said.

"And we both settled for Brendon," they said together.

"I can't believe this..." I said looking down at Kendall, who I was holding.

There was a knock on the door and everyone walked in.

Once everyone came in, Erin started talking. "Nash, did you get everything we needed for the two little surprises?"

"Yeah. I got the two extra cribs, car seats, baby bags, extra diapers, bottles, and clothes for the boys."

"Perfect. Now Cam and I wanted to tell you who the godparents are," Erin said. "I chose Carter and Emily for Brendon's and Maddie and Nash for Kendall."

"And I chose Aaron and Taylor for Joey," Cam said.

With that, everyone started laughing then Taylor said "Dibs on being the godmother!" And that made everyone laugh even harder.

Everyone got the chance to hole each baby once, then visiting hours were over.

We all came back to my house considering that we still had everything from the party.

Once we pulled in the driveway, they guys ran out of the car and back in the pool. Except for Brent who stayed and helped me.

Brent helped me set up a projector and laptop so we could watch a movie while the guys swam after the sun went down.

We watched Frozen, which was my second favorite movie. I mean how can you not love Olaf?!

When it got to the part where Hans was about to unfreeze Anna's heart but didn't (asshole 😒) everyone was out of the pool and the guys set up a fire. Jess had grabbed some stuff to make s'mores.

By the time the movie was over, everyone was bored.

Then Maddie suggested that we sing. She's famous on YouTube for the song covers that she does and she loves to show off her voice.

Jess grabbed her guitar and gave it to Shawn so he could get the ball rolling with Life of the Party (😍)

The guys all got up and danced with their girlfriends. Since Shawn was singing, Lily just sat next to him.

Brent's POV

Now is my chance.

I can dance with Mel and recreate our first slow dance considering that she doesn't remember it.

I got up and walked towards her. "Would you like to dance, Mel?" I asked her.

"But my leg-" she started before I cut her off.

"I'll hold you up. I won't let you fall. I promise," I said helping her up.

When the song finished, I had the perfect plan.

"Nash!" I yelled over to him. "Come here."

"What's up?" He asked putting some popcorn in his mouth.

"Help Mel stand up so she won't fall. I'll be right back."

Melanie's POV

Nash held me up while Brent whispered something to Shawn. Then he nodded his head then started playing a different song.

"Do you know what he's doing?" I asked Nash.

"Nope," he said.

Shawn started playing Make You Feel my Love which I loved ever since Lea Michelle sang it on Glee.

Brent came back to me and Nash went back to Emma and continued to do what they were doing before. Which was making out.

"How did you know I loved this song?" I asked Brent as we started dancing again.

"We've been friends for over 2 months. When I was on tour and we facetimed, you were always listening to your music," he told me smiling. And of course, I was blushing like crazy.

When it got to the chorus, Brent started talking.

"So I have a question for you," he said to me. He looked nervous. He's so cute when he looks like that.

"What is it? You know you can tell me anything," I said looking deep into his perfect brown eyes.

"Uh.. This is harder then I thought.."

"C'mon Brent. Tell me," I said giving him the puppy-dog eyes.

"Okay," he breathed. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
