Fields of heaven

Chapter 34:

I breathed in the cool jasmine scent from the floret; that sat on the window sill, day-dreaming. Then I thought about Ed and his smoothness, his extraordinary ability to stuff more than 20 marshmallows in his mouth, and lastly his innocent smile and giggle. I stretched and jumped up, waking up 10 minutes before the alarm. I slowly pulled the quilt and made my bed, as I popped on my slippers; and made my way to the bathroom.

I came out the bathroom, leaving my mouth minty and spanking-new! I jogged to my phone and turned the alarm off; receiving a message from Ed. I opened it and it said:

To Leanna:

Firstly, your mum has already given me breakfast and I love so much Xx

From Ed.

I giggled and ran downstairs; hearing their jolly conversation. Ed sat on the counter with his bacon and eggs. He turned and smirked. He looked incredibly hot today, and I don't know why. I rushed and gave him a hug. "Good morning beautiful," He said in his deep steamy voice. "Hey," I said, falling in love with his eyes. "So your here so early?" I asked. "Yeah. I firstly wanted to see your face in this fine morning!" He said fiddling with his bacon. "That's why I love you," I said as I pulled him close and gave him a romantic, minty kiss. "You better get ready Leanna whilst I make you breakfast," Mum said grinning and making her perfect grilled cheese sandwich. We blushed and separated as I hastily hiked up the stairs, to get changed.

I stumbled down the stairs, looking posh and fancy from the uniform; and quickly applied a smudge of my watermelon gloss. Ed was still sitting there, waiting for my arrival. "I'm back," I said, slowly putting the gloss away inside my bag. "Hey." He said smiling, really cheesy: it was too cute. I giggled softly. "What happened?" I asked awkwardly. "I've just realized what a spectacular life I've got now. My super generous parents, your adorable mother, a great best friend, a healthy life; and you." Ed said, his head raised high to have a look at me. "Aww that's really sweet babe. But seriously, for me just 'you'? You gave everyone else such amazing descriptions." I said as I giggled and shunned him completely. He clenched my wrist tight and pulled me close. Our breaths collided and my heart fluttered. "I didn't give you any description because there are no words for you. You fill the icing to my cake, you stir the rest of my morning coffee. Every day, every minute, every breath I am always thinking about you, just you Leanna. And that's why I love you Miss Rose, truly and will do to the end. I hope you understand babe," Ed said staring into my eyes. I was in shock but extremely impressed. "Why couldn't I find you before? Before all that has happened. Babe, I want you to know that you were the only one that made me want to live, just a little more. After the breakup, my mum came here with me, to see if it would make a difference: but it never did, until I met you. So thank you Mr Sheeran, I love you for that," I said as we both smiled and glared into each other's eyes in full concentration. The moment felt memorable and pleasant. But there was also, a good awkward silence until; we heard a mysterious knock coming from the main door.
