A hard, stinging dagger pressed against my soft broken flesh. It was penetrating and eventually my whole arm went numb. My eyes popped open and beamed on the injection given by Cheryl. 'That really hurts!" I screamed. "Nearly done," She said, slowly pulling it out. "There," She said, wiping the last few drops of blood from the needle before throwing it in the bin. She smiled and quickly applied a heart shaped plaster on the mark. "Seriously?" I said, indicating the the 'heart plaster' was a bit childish. "Yeah, its cute and the last ones we've got," She said as she walked out with all her equipment, with a grin. She seemed evil. I don't know why. However, I still couldn't get over the fact that I was in a 3 month coma. I wonder where all my friends were. And most importantly, Ed. Where was he? I can't believe he would just leave me alone to suffer. It was actually pretty spiteful of him to do that. I sat up straight with an aching streak of pain from my neck. It's probably because I'm always sleeping! These sleeping pills is a pain sometimes, honestly. I reached for my phone that was the very tip of the narrow desk. It flashed on, then a burst of messages spread. And it was all from Abby. Most of them were concerned messages: like 20 of them. It was all saying 'Where are you???' 'Speak to me!!!!' 'I hate you.' 'I love you'. This girl is a fireball of sweetness and I really wanted to meet her.

It was probably fate. Her bulging emerald like eyes glared at me with a sense of worry and frustration. "Abby!" I shouted in excitement. "Hey babe, you alright?" She said as she gave me her cuddly hug and sat beside me. "Alright?! I'm literally stuck to this bed! Anyway, I haven't heard from you in ages. What's going on, outside this stuffy room, eh?" I replied. "Oh nothing much.." She answered, in disturbance. "What..What's going on Abby?" I say, feeling uneasy. "Nothing. Er..Yeah. Everything is fine. Sort of.." She said, stammering a bit too much. "Abby.." I say staring at her guilty, scared face. "It's Ed. And he needs help." She said, giving up. "What.. Ed? What's wrong with him!?" I say, my heart beating furiously. "He..He is kidnapped. Ed gave me a really messed up message, I don't know how or when but I'm sure it was Keegan." She said, a weariness in her eyes. I was shocked and not even a mumble came out. "So, we have to look for him! We have to go now!" I said, quickly riping of the injection from my arm and weird plaster things. "Woah Leanna! You have to wait, you haven't even recovered yet! And on the plus side, the police are looking for him these days. Don't worry, he'll be in your arms in no time!" Abby said, giving me a friendly warm hug. The hug still didn't help and that excruciating pain in my chest returned. I couldn't believe her words. Could this be true? She stroked my messy hair as she laid me down. "You need rest ok? I don't want worrying in this state, it's not very healthy." She assured me, her light eyes shining. "Thanks, really. But I'm AM going to find Ed, whatever it takes!" I say in confidence, her hand in mine. "Ok but wherever you go, I go." She concluded before walking out and shutting the door, gently. Within seconds, the twinkle of numerous anaesthetics- finally took its turn, and made me shut my eyes; until the next dawn.
