The Possibilities

Best night ever

     The limo reaches the hotel we are having our prom at. We walk in arm in arm. The hallway is booming with loud music coming from the dance room. I look at him and smile at him as does he. We walk into the ballroom where everyone is sitting, drinking, dancing, and whatnot. We sit at a table where Scar and my other friends were sitting. They notice his hands and beam with happiness. 

   They talk to him and then find their dates when a slow song comes on. Me and Edward were talking for a while before another song comes on. This one was called 'So close' by Jon McLaughlin. "Care for this dance?" Edward asks with an outstretched hand. I gladly take it and we go out to the dance floor. He pulls me in close and puts his arms and hands around my waist and mine around his neck as he has me look into his eyes. I then lean my cheek against his and feel my heart race as we dance slowly under the disco ball. I look back into his eyes and see his sparkle. 

   I realize I am falling deeply in love with him. I can't help or control it. I give him a small smile and look down before I feel the urge to kiss him right then and there. I listen to the song play as we swayed back and forth. A while later we are in the middle of the dance floor slow dancing fastly. He twirls me around under the disco globe light. As the song ends he pulls me close to him. 

   A few minutes later we sit down and another song comes on called "Ever Ever After" by Carrie Underwood. I fell in love with this song from when I was little. It was from my favorite movie 'Enchanted'. I stare into his eyes. I look back down. 'No wonder you heart feels it's flying your head feels it's spinning each happy ending's a brand new beginning let yourself be Enchanted you just might break through. The song goes 'I've  been dreaming of a true love's kiss' At this part I look up at Edward to see he is already looking at me. I blush and am about to lean in when the principal goes on the mic to announce Prom King and Queen. 

   "And the prom King is Edward!" He yells out to Ed as he goes up to get the crown. And then he announces the Queen. "Amber Boggs!" He yells. I am shocked but go up anyways. Edward puts the crown uptop my head. "There you are my Queen," he whispers into my ear as a shiver runs down my spine. 

   We go down to the middle of the dance floor where the King and Queen are to do their first waltz. He takes my hand in his as a song comes on. As we are dancing he leans in and whispers, "You really are beautiful and amazing, Amber." I blush and close my eyes. I lean my head on his chin as we sway. A few minutes later the song ends. Prom ends later on and as Edward and I get into the limo I think of what an amazing night I had with my man Edward. Even tho he isn't my man yet he will become mine. I smile at that thought and lean my head on his shoulder and soon as I know it I am asleep comfortably. 

   I am awoken by Edward to say that we are back home. He opens the door for me and takes my hand to go into the house. My feet are tired that I stumble and he catches me. He carries me bridal style up the stairs to put me on my bed. He says goodnight to everyone and I get up to change into my pajamas. I am in my bra and undies when I see Edward raising his eyebrow sexily. "Umm," I giggle nervously. I rush into the bathroom with my pajamas. I come back out to see him in my dad's boxers that he borrowed. I blush and try not to at his chest and how sexy he looked.

   I look to the side instead and get into bed next to him in my new spot which is becoming more of my spot. "Hey beautiful," He says to me as I lay facing towards him. "Hey," I say smiling. He winks at me and I fight the urge to not kiss him which is working. Instead, I lean in close to him and put my arms around him to hug. Then I turn around facing the other direction towards the door and I feel his arms slither towards my sides as he holds me close like that and I fall asleep like that in his arms.
