Naisha's  POV

Everything is fine between me and daddy but Naira and Aadhira are not on talking terms.

What's wrong between them?

But, why should I even care about it? Let them sort it out!

I was watching 'Paw Patrol' on the TV. Naira was in the kitchen. Dad, as usual, was clung to Naira and Aadhira was in the bedroom. No wonder what she was doing there, plotting plans to trouble me!

Soon, we were called for dinner. All of us seated ourselves on the dining table. But Aadhira didn't come down. Seeking, this opportunity, I got seated myself next to dad.

"Hi dad", I said to him.

"Where's Aadhira?", dad asked looking at me, waiting for my reply.

Oh...come on dad, Just for one second stop thinking and caring about Aadhira and concentrate on your own daughter....!!

I sighed.

"I have no idea", I replied.

Dad's facial expressions were gradually changing into a horrified one. Just then, Naira spoke.

"She is in her bedroom. I'll go check on her", Naira said and rushed upstairs to the bedroom.

Dad turned to look at me. He sighed.

"Did you do something again?", he asked.

"Why will I do something dad?", I said, my voice coated with opposition.

"Did you apologise to her?", he again asked, narrowing his eyes.

This frustrated me.

He blamed me no matter what.

"Why should I apologise dad? I wasn't at fault, you should  know that as I told you million times. Why don't you trust me? It was she, who-

I was interrupted when Aadhira entered the dining room with Naira following her.

Aadhira looked upset, like she was angry with someone. She was feeling low, I guess.

Soon, Aadhira and Naira seated themselves on the seat and Aadhira was sitting far away from Naira, beside dad. So, I and Aadhira were sitting on either side of dad.

"Hey princess...where were you? Why do you look so dull?", dad asked Aadhira.

Honestly, I hate it when dad calls Aadhira a princess. I was his only princess....but Aadhira came into the picture and ruined it all.

"Nothing, dad", Aadhira replied and started eating.

Dad looked at Naira. She gave him an assuring look.

But something was wrong, I could sense it....

Still Naisha's POV

It was the time to sleep. I was in the bathroom, brushing my teeth cause it was a rule in dad's healthy habits manual, to brush your teeth before going to bed.

I brushed my teeth and walked out of the washroom. I was wearing a 'Winnie the Pooh' nightsuit and a pink hair band pushed the hair back which fell on my face.

I heard some sounds coming from the living room. I walked towards the living room to see dad and Naira having a conversation with Aadhira.

I hid behind the wall and yeah...I was eavesdropping.

"Why are you upset with mommy, baby?" Naira asked Aadhira.

Dad was waiting for her reply.

"Cuz you blamed me for today's incident. You took Naisha's side even when she was the culprit. I wasn't at fault. You love Naisha more than me", Aadhira complained, fake tears making their way out of her eyes.

How dare she lie!!

Liar...liar pants on fire!!

Wish it were true....

It would be really interesting to watch Aadhira's pant burning....what an amazing scene would it be!!

Okay jokes apart...

I continued to hear their conversation.

"No baby....don't ever think that! I and dad love you both equally.....I love you more than anything because you are my baby....and I wasn't blaming you Aadhira....I was just asking cuz I wanted to know exactly what had happened... I know you weren't at fault baby, please forgive mommy", Naira pleaded.

Aadhira didn't reply. She continued to look down.

"Mommy loves you a lot baby. She wasn't at fault. She wasn't blaming you ", Dad continued.

Aadhira sat silent for a few seconds.

"Okay...I forgave you mommy", Aadhira replied.

Naira smiled broadly and hugged Aadhira tightly.

"I love you baby ", Naira said.

"I love you too mommy ", Aadhira replied.

They released the hug.

Just then, I sighed and leaned on the table that the book fell from its place.

All of them, saw in that direction and saw me.

"Hi", I walked in casually so that nobody comes to  know that I was eavesdropping.

"Naisha...I want you to come here", Dad said.

I walked towards dad.

"Yes dad", I replied.

"I want you to apologise to Aadhira", dad declared.

Has he lost his mind? He doesn't believe me.

"But dad why must I apologise to her....I wasn't at fault ", I defended myself.

"Naisha Goenka....I want you to accept your fault and apologise to Aadhira....no further arguments ", dad ordered in his famous bossy tone.

"But -", I began to say but dad interrupted me in between.

"Apologise", Dad ordered in a tone that could make anyone gulp hard.

I turned towards Aadhira.

"I am sorry", I finally said.

"Its okay", Aadhira said and smirked.

WTF!!

This means this was a part of her plan....She wanted me to apologise to her....what a B....

"I am sleepy....good night every one", I said and rushed upstairs to my bedroom.

Screw you, Aadhira!!
