Naisha's POV

The sun rays crept in through the window and fell on my face. I slowly opened my eyes and stretched my arms, yawning. I got off the bed and paved my way towards the washroom. I got freshen up and changed into my school uniform. I struggled to make pigtails. My dad was surely gonna mess it up and I had no interest in asking that woman to help me anyway. So I decided to do it myself. Finally I did it. I grabbed my bag and paved my way towards the dining room.

' Good morning princess. '

I ignored my dad. I could hardly remember those mornings in which dad used to wake me up with a kiss on my forehead. Those days were gone. He barely spent time with me.

I approached the kitchen that was attached to the dining room. Naira smiled looking at me.

' Good mor - '

I interrupted her in the middle.

' How can my morning be good if I see your face. '

I said putting some jam on the bread. I could see her from the corner of my eyes. Her smile had vanished and she turned to continue her work. I walked towards the dining table and sat far away from dad. I could see him looking at me shockingly. He looked at my plate.

'Princess  why are you eating this?  See your mom has made - '

I cut him in between.

' First of all she is not my mom and she can never be.  Secondly, I am 6 years old.  I know how to put jam over the bread and digest it.  I will not die if I don't eat whatever you are eating and if you ask me why then I am sure enough that you know my answer. '

I said him pointing towards naira.  I have never spoken so rudely to him.  But he deserved it.

' Good morning daddy. '

Aadhira entered and climbed on dad. Dad kissed her cheek. My eyes got widened. Wait! Why is she wearing my school's uniform. No this can't happen.

' Naisha from today Aadhira will accompany you at school. '

Aadhira stared at me.

' In the same section. '

Done! I am done. Over. My life is over. Only this was left.

I got off the dining table without completing my breakfast. Dad and naira looked at me confusingly.

' I hate you dad. '

I said looking at dad with pain and hurt in my eyes. I left from there.
