Chapter 29: School vs jail

When class ended it was time for lunch. But I went straight to the toilet. That was full of embarrassment. The whole class saw me crying but good thing I sat at the back.
It's still humiliating that they had to see me cry. I had to shove my face in the book. Whenever I think about Emily I cry. I can't help it but every time I think about her i fall.
Maybe I need help forgetting about her. I slid my phone in my jeans back  pocket and put my hands on the sink. It's dripping and I didn't wipe them off. I look at the mirror,and stare at this blonde girl in front of me. I remembered about Courtney,but maybe she doesn't wanna talk to me anymore.
"Ali Oh my god! There you are!" I turn around and saw Courtney and a guy walking in the bathroom. I leave Courtney hanging and just stare at the guy."This is the ladies washroom..." I say only shook and he smiles only wider than before and blinks slowly. "Meh. This school is load of shit. They don't care."
Courtney looks at him and he just shrugs. "What do you want?" I ask and they look at me blinking at each other.
"You can come in now." The guy said and a girl came in the room. Wearing a white up-knee dress,and her hair tied behind her ear as a braid. Courtney looks at her and blush,smiling happily looking at...Vivian? I thought her eyes are red? What the hell is she even doing here?
I noticed Courtney staring at Vivian a bit long and when I fake cough she looks at me busted. I raised her eyebrows and she rolls her eyes smiling."Long story."
"What's the big deal? Why the sweet entrance?" I ask and crossing my arms,leaning my back hip against the sink planting a smirk on my face."Okay,Vivian and I are together now. It's obvious."
"Wait you are?" I really didn't expecting that. Courtney's face really went white and I just twitch my eyebrow."I'm kidding. Of course I know. And congratulations. Try not to be like me though." I say running my fingers through my hair and smiling at Vivian.
She seems to be afraid of me."Hey just because you tore me and Emily apart that doesn't mean you're not forgiven. Besides,I wanna thank you for saving me from her."
"Why what happened?" Courtney asks immediately and I furrow my eyebrows. She didn't knew? "Emily shot me. I thought you knew...?" They shook their head and I completely become lost.
I show them the scar I have on my chest where she shot me to them and they finally believed it. "We're too late..." Vivian tells Courtney and they all look nervous and scared. Accept for me I look totally curious."No,no,no,no we're not late yet...we can still do this.." "What is it?"
"We found a way to get you two back together. We were too busy we didn't even know that you got out of the hospital. We were working on something. And...it's actually something you need to give it to her yourself. We've been figuring the real solution and the path to fix this through,and we actually did found something that built a strong connection between you two." Vivian explains.
"So...if you do want to be with her,keep us posted. We'll wait no matter how long it takes. I want you two be happy again. We all do." I glance at Courtney and to what she's holding.
She gave it to me and I look...it's Emily's bracelet? I look at her aroused,kept quiet. "What should I do with this?"
"You do the magic. We'll only just look. G'luck!" They left but Vivian hasn't yet."I just want you to know...that I'm sorry." I nod and planted a sweet smile to her and she seems relieved."Do me one favour?" She stops herself before she leave,turning her head to me.
"Keep her safe. No matter what. When all of this is over." I say and smile slightly,and she nods returning the smile. She left and I'm alone in the washroom. I lick my lips and put my hands on the sink with still my back hip leaning on it.
I took a deep breath and look at one of my hands that's holding the bracelet.

I stare at it for a while,I remembered the look on her face surprised when I bought this for her.

Flashback to when Alison and Emily are at the theme park:

"Don't look! You're so sneaky!" I'm covering her eyes,and walking behind her to the dock. After we rode the Ferris wheel,we stopped by to get cotton candy but she already gobble it all up.
When I walk her to a bench,I told her to sit down and close her eyes by her own."Okay,don't look yet." She nods and I can't wait to show her this gift I bought.
"Okay,open your eyes." She lifts her eyelids up slowly,and when she looks at her wrist,a grin grew on her face."Where did you get this?"
"When you were eating my cotton candy." She smiles nervously and i just smile looking at the purple bracelet,details of her name."Thank you." I nod and she keeps looking at the bracelet."Can you help me with mine?" My bracelet is the same like hers. But it has my name on it. She put it on for me and i give her a smile as a thank you."You didn't have to buy me anything."
"Please. How can i not? Besides,i got you another gift." She giggles excitedly and unexpected about this. I was looking for that smile. I prepare the gift in my hand bag,and bring it out. "Aw...a mini teddy bear..?" Emily took it from me and have a closer look.
"It's Jason's but i stole it. Without him knowing. I want you to have it so take good care of it."  Emily chuckles and tilt her head,giving me the most cutest look she could ever give. The mini teddy bear is brown,and has dark eyes. It even has a tie on it's neck."It can speak."
I say and told her to press it's tummy. When she did,all it says is teddy teddy teddy. We both burst out laughing,that thing didn't sound as cute as I thought it would be. And like how it should be just like the time on Christmas years ago. This was a gift from me to Jason. But hey,at least Emily's enjoying it.
"I didn't know it was Christmas until you gave me these things." She jokes and I poke her arm with my elbow. I put my hand bag at my other side and put my head on her shoulder. "Where do you think the other girls are?" I ask,and she plays with my fingers.
"I don't know. Maybe they're on a ride or something. You know they won't go home without a feeling of jumping off a building." She admits and I giggle lifting my head to look at her and gives a serenity smile.
"Hey,look at the sky." We both tilt our head up,my eyes are stunned by the stars. "It's pretty." She points,and then look at me."Like you." I blush and stare at her eyes. Did she really said that?
"Shut up before I leave you alone there saying the words all to yourself." I say trying to push the biggest feeling I just had staring at her eyes. I stand up and walk to the edge of the dock,and just stand there hugging myself."I really mean it. I swear."
I roll my eyes as a sign that I'm not buying it. And she starts to panic."Wha-it's true! I didn't mean it for myself! Seriously Ali I'm-"
"Shut up." I lean to her fast and plant a short kiss and she went shook."Dork." I tease and she tilts her head."Ouch. That hurts."
"Whatever,little baby. Let's go find them before they get lost." Emily agrees and I snatch her hand and interlock our fingers.
While walking I couldn't stop staring at the sky,stars. It's beautiful. But when I stare at it for a little too long i bumped into someone. She was in shades and it fell,so I helped her to take it. "Sorry." When I met her eyes it's greasy green eyes,dark hair and a sneaky smile.
I gave it to her and she said thank you in a polite way. She walked away,but I keep staring at her and Emily holds my hand tight."Is something wrong?"
"That girl...she seems weird." I say to Emily and she looks at her too. I guess she doesn't know her too."Probably someone evil. C'mon."
I nod and hold back Emily's hand,and walk off.
