I decided to skip lunch at the cafe, I knew Alise was going to be there and I wasn't ready to see her yet.

I was on my way to my last class and immediately stopped at the door when I see Alise sitting in the back on her phone. Crap, I forgot she has this class. Before I could even think to turn around and run away she looked up and waved me over.

I walked inside slowly, trying to find any other seat I could go to other than next to her. But I arrived kinda late so the only seat left was next to her.

When I sat down I had already made up my mind that I wasn't gonna make a big deal out of it.

"I didn't see you at the cafe today," she says with that same smile that makes me blush every time. Not this time though

"I wasn't hungry," I say not even giving her one glance

"Oh, well I was thinking we could go to the fair today" completely missing the cold shoulder I'm giving her

"I actually don't think I want to go tonight," I say still not looking at her

I see her face turn from her smile to a confused frown at the corner of my eye.

"Why not? Did Something happen?"

"Yeah, Sara happened," I say looking at her finally but there's nothing but anger on my face

"Sara?" She says looking even more confused "what does she have to do about this"

"Well, maybe it's the fact that you slept with her after I left. Then proceeded to text me after, or before, maybe even during. Who knows with you."

"Ladies, I'm going to have to ask you to quiet down back there" Mr. Callen called to us

"Sorry sir," I say facing forward again

"Look, Ray, yes I was with Sara that night but she just barged in my room, I didn't invite her in there. And I texted you before she came in. I promise you she means nothing to me, and we are not together whatsoever" she says with an expression that looks so sincere it makes me want to believe her

"Come on, come to the fair with me. I'll buy you cotton candy" she says getting me again with that amazing smile

"I'd rather have a candy apple," I say giving in to it

"That's my girl, done, whatever you want," she says looking satisfied she convinced me to go out with her again

The bell rings dismissing the class, and I managed to miss the entire lesson talking to Alise. We say our goodbyes and I walk off to my car and drive home.

When I get home I head straight for my room and fell onto my bed. It's only 3:00, and I don't need to start getting ready until 5:00. So I decided to call my sister to kill time.

The phone only rings two times before I hear her voice on the other end.

"I've been meaning to call you, how'd that party go? Did you leave her wanting more" she says in a fake seductive voice

"Yeah, a complete puddle of drool on the floor," I say sarcastically

"Look at you, my sister the heartbreaker. So when you gonna see her again" she asks clearly not picking up on the sarcasm

"We're actually going to the fair tonight"

"Ooo what are you wearing"

"I don't know probably just jeans and a t-shirt"

"Just jeans and a t-shirt, really? You're killing me Ray" she says clearly not happy at my outfit choice

"Before you start, no I will not be putting on anything else. It's the fair, I want to be comfortable. So the jeans and shirt are final" I say standing by my choice
