A lot of things have changed, when she disappeared. Like, it wasn't easy to forget everything about her. I still always climb up to her room. Look at her stuffs, clean her room, change the bedsheet and talk about her like she didn't disappeared, pretending that she's still here.
For the first month, it wasn't really easy, I've got nightmares about her everynight, her mom and brother Lian crying when they remember some things that reminds them of her, and me who can't sleep thinking about her. My mom says I need some sleep. I even went to the doctor, because I had insomnia. It wasn't really easy. Not for everyone, not for me.
The second month was not really difficult, not like from the first. Lian was doing great at school and her mom already feeling better, but for me it was still a little bit of a hell, I still have insomnia and couldn't eat properly.
Third month was a lot much better, My bandmates visited me and encouraged me to return at our band practice again, and I started writing songs—about her, for her. We went to a lot of gigs everynight. A lot of offers was given to us.
After 5 months we made a large boom at the music industry— we were sighted by a music agency and made our first debut—— it was because of her. I owe everything to her. She was my inspiration. My everything.
I didn't forgot to visit her, every month. If I'm free, I would always go to the cemetery, but a lot of this days it wasn't really easy to just come out in the public. My agency was really protective of us—— they say we were fcking famous. But, I dont care about it. I just miss her.
"Hello, Ivor?" The interviewer said waving his hands infront of me.
"Oh, shit." I said, I forgot we were in the middle of an interview for Fords Magazine. The interviewer laughed.
"You spaced out, there must have been a lot of things going on inside your head." He said chuckling.
"Oh. Sorry. I was just looking at your suit. It's good to you." I said and fake a smile. Well let's fcking rock this interview with a fake compliment.
"Haha, I never knew that you were such a joker, Ivor." He said slowly striked my arms while giggling. Ugh. This guy is annoying. I looked at my bandmates who were trying to not laugh at what the interviewer did. They knew I hated this kinds of things. I make a face at them.
"Anyways, who is your inspiration for writing Endlessly?" He asked talking about our biggest hit.
"Someone, close to heaven." I said straightforward
"Oh, haha. Uh are you romantically attached to her?"
"Yeah."
"Can you tell us who she is? It would be really great if you'd tell us about her." He insist. Okay! This is way too out of the border line.
"She's dead." I said loudly and serious. My bandmates turned their heads to me, with a shocked reaction written on all their faces.
"Oh. Uhh. Sorry about that. Well, thankyou so much for spending some time with us, The strings!" He said and gave me a handshake which I accepted.
"Wow. That was really honest, bro." Brent said clapping his hands.
"Well, it's true anyway." Rose said crossing her arms.
"Yeah." Thunder, and jeremy both agreed.
"Okay. Strings, you are going to perform today at the morning show. You ready? The studio is in the other side. Be ready guys. And Ivor! Please do something romantic for your fans! Goodluck!" Joey said. He was our manager. Surprising isn't it? Well, I picked him to be our manager. He was good though.
I nod as an answer and rose lends me my old guitar.
"You ready?" She asked.
I smirked. "LET'S FCKING ROCK THIS!" I screamed. And the staff signaled us to come out of the door which leads to the morning show studio. I heard people screaming and the lime light shines in the stage. I heard the host said:
"Let's welcome! The strings!" And there we stepped out and everyone was clapping and cheering for us.
I closed my eyes and take a deep breathe. This is for you, Lumina. I miss you.
I opened my eyes. "ONE, TWO, THREE! HELLO CROWD!" I screamed and then I heard The loud drums started to play at the back. I sang the first sentences of endlessly. I close my eyes while wrapping both of my hands in the microphone, holding it firmly. I get ready to open my eyes, when I hit the chorus.

As soon as I hit the chorus, I opened my eyes and something caught my attention. The blonde girl, in the middle of the crowd who was waving her phone with the flashlight on, singing into the lyrics, closing her eyes while she's smiling. I was stunned on my place after I saw her, I couldn't removed my eyes off her. Damn Lumina, dont tell me that you want me to fall inlove with that girl. I thought to myself. I didn't stop singing even if I was caught off guard by the beauty I just saw in the crowd. I waited for our performance to end. I gave my all to the song until we were done.
"THANK YOU EVERYONE!" I shouted as soon as we ended, and so the show too. I immediately walked back to the backstage. I heard my bandmates calling out my name but I didn't dare to look back, I ran to the outside. Wishing she would be there as soon as I got out. Lumina, if this was your gift to me, I wouldn't say no. Please me wish me goodluck. I thought to myself.
I ran, searching for her. I was being more careful, because of the crowd. If they fcking caught me—— I dont care anymore. We only live once so let's take a risk. Until I found the blonde haired girl, She was turning her back at me so I quickly ran up to her.
As soon as I got into her. I take a deep breathe. She was talking with her friend, who not just a second recognized me and points her finger at me, looking at her. She inmediately turned her head to me.
"Hi." I said panting.
"H—hi. Oh my god." Her reaction was just like her friend—— surprised.
"I'm Ivor." I said lending my hands for a handshake, she immediately accepted.
"I'm Katherine." She answered back looking at my eyes, I dare to look back too.
After 1 year. I finally found someone, That I could laid my eyes on forever . No one dared to broke the handshake. I knew it and I knew that she felt it too.
