The Herm Hedgehog (On Hold)

Prologue

In this world, Mobius, there was two class, the Rich class, and the Poor class. The Poor class lived in the most miserable side of the city. There was a lot of bandits, criminals, and all that. Most of them lived in small apartment, with not a lot of fourniture in them. They can't have TV or other things like that, too expensive, they don't have time for that anyway. A lot of Poor class needed at least two jobs to live nearly normaly, and the Rich class and Gouvernment just made their lives harder.

The Rich class had the greater lives, of course, they had plenty of money, their side of the city was clean, with beautiful cars everywhere and big houses and mansions. Most of the Rich class were owner of big Business, they had servants and maids everytime to do chores for them. It was better to live in the Rich class, that's for sure.

But one day, something unusual happened.

One night, in a Poor hospital, a baby was born. The mother panted heavily, exhausted after pushing her son out. Her husband smiled at her, squeezing her hand gently.

''You did great, honey. I'm proud of you.'' The male hedgehog said at his wife.

She smiled tiredly, her red fur was drenched in sweat for the birth, but she was happy. She will be able to see her son, something that she and her husband couldn't wait to see.

''Congratulation. Your son is healthy and he is perfectly normal.'' The nurse come in the room, giving the baby at his mother.

She took her baby gently, and started to cry in happiness. ''Aww, Dark... He is perfect.'' She said, admiring her baby who was sleeping for now. Probably tired of being born.

Dark, the black, red eyed hedgehog, smiled at his wife and strocked his son's, red striped, soft quills. ''Of course, Light, he is ours.''

Light giggled and looked at her son. He was black, like his father, but instead to have just one blue stripe on his top quill, all of his quills were red striped. He surely took his red color from his mother, who was just a red furred hedgehog.

The proud new-parents just admired their son for a while, without knowing that their son will be very special...

   5 Years Later...

''You still feel bad, Shadow?'' Light asked at her son. The little, black and red, hedgehog noded his head, holding his stomach in pain. He sniffed, he's been crying for some time now.

Light looked at her husband, looking concerned. ''Dark... I want to go to the hospital... The doctor said that it will pass but he is still in pain. We can't let him like this... Going to the hospital for some test can't be bad, right?'' She was really worried for her son, and what mother will not be in this condition?

Dark sighed. ''You're right, Light. Let's go to the hospital, and I hope that it's not something horrible.''

Light noded and gently took her son in her arms, to not hurt him more, and they goes to the hospital.

It took the doctors some hours to try every test on Shadow, and because they are Poor, they had to pay for the doctors can work on Shadow. But they didn't care, the well being of their son was more important for them than money.

A doctor finally came to them. Light immediately sat up. ''How is my son? Have you found what's he have?'' She asked in worry, her husband holding her a bit, knowing that she could just jump on the doctor and ask more and more questions.
