The Herm Hedgehog (On Hold)

Chapter 7

The two hedgehogs were walking together. Shadow looked everywhere, curiously.
"This place is huge..."
Sonic chuckled.
"Of course, it's a mansion. Now, I want you to be... I don't like that word, but... Like my personal maid. You'll stay with me most of the time, and maybe you will even be able to help me in my work. Since I took my father's place at the museum, I didn't had a lot of time to be with people without thinking about business. So, what do you say?"
Shadow was shocked of this proposal, he didn't think he deserved to be treated like that. But he couldn't resist to be next to Sonic.
"I-I hope I'll be good enough for you..."
He stuttered in nervousness.
Sonic puts a hand on his shoulder gently and smiled warmly.
"You'll be good. I'm sure of that. I'll show you your room. It's next to mine, if you need anything."
Shadow blushed.
"T-Thank you..."
"You can call me Sonic."
Sonic smiled and guided him to his room.
"Thank you, Sonic."
Shadow smiled and followed him.

After Sonic showed Shadow his room and lets him install himself, he had to go back to his office, to finish some work quickly. But he found his father on the way.
"I heard that you took a sort of personal maid for yourself, huh? One of the servants told me."
Jules seemed suspicious, and a bit angry.
"Yes, so what? I can have a personal maid if I want. It's a problem?"
Jules looked serious.
"Sonic. I'm still in charge of all the servants here. We have already enough servants like that. Why takes another one?"
"I'll take all the responsibility. And I wanted someone to help me in my work, and to do work for me when I need it. The others servants have already a lot of work."
"A servant will never be able to help you in your work. They don't understand our work."
Sonic frowned.
"He will be able to help me. He is intelligent. The servants can be smart too, I'm sure of it. You will see."
Sonic dismissed his father and goes to his office, with an angry look on his face.
"I'll see that, son."
Jules goes to his own office.

Hey everyone. Sorry for the wait. I got back my computer and everything. I feel so much better now. :) And I was playing Detroit: Become Human, it's so cool! I love this game! But anyway, this chapter is short but I don't know what else to say in it. And I'm working on another story as well. I have another idea for another story, again, tell me if you want to see it or not. See you later! :)
