Chapter 5

Sonic came back from Scourge whorehouse. He was still thinking about Shadow.
'He is really beautiful... But he seemed so scared and broken... I'll protect him from now on and I will treat him like he deserves.'
He was walking back inside his family huge mansion, until his father came to him.
"Son, you're already back? How was the request I asked you to do?"
Jules was standing in front of him, with a serious look in his brown eyes.
Sonic was a bit startled by the sound of his father's voice and he quickly composed himself.
"Everything was fine, father. I had everything on control."
Jules smiled proudly at his son.
"I knew I could count on you! I can say with pride that you are my son."
Sonic was flustered by his father compliment, it rarely happens. Most of the time, his father was serious and too professional for Sonic likings. He knew that he was a business man but Sonic was more laid back than his father, but stayed very professional in front of his father of course.
"Thank you, father. I'm just doing what our family have done for generations."
Jules was pleased with his son's words.
"You can go back to your business, son. I have a meeting soon."
Sonic nodded and bowed in respect in front of his father as Jules goes away.
Sonic sighed.
"I have to prepare a lot of money for Scourge... I hope my father will never know about this..."
He quickly goes to his office.

Some days later...

Sonic was waiting for Scourge to accept his offer. He was ready to pay more than 1 000 000 just to have Shadow. Scourge seemed more interested by the price now, but the problem will be that Sonic will have to explain a way for Shadow to be here...
Suddenly his phone rang and he quickly answered it.
"It's Sonic, from the Hedgehog family. Who is calling?"
He answered with a professional voice.
"It's Scourge. I accept your offer of 1 000 000 dollars... You can come to take the Herm when you are ready. With the money, of course."
Sonic was smiling in excitement at the news. He will finally have Shadow!
"I'm taking the money and I'm coming right now."
He answered and hung up.
"Now the money..."
Sonic murmured to himself, taking everything he will need and called a chauffeur to drive him to Scourge.

Sonic arrived to the whorehouse and goes inside, Scourge was waiting for him.
"You came here quickly, good. Let's go to my private room to talk a little bit."
Sonic nodded and followed Scourge.
They sat down in front of each other.
"So, I talked to Shadow about this, he is preparing to leave with you. But I'll warn you, you better not to talk about this to anyone."
Sonic was a bit confused but agreed with him.
"Of course. It's my business, it will stay with me."
He answered with his serious voice and professional stance.
Scourge smirked at this.
"Wonderful.~ I need to see the money now."
Sonic puts two box in front of him with 50 000 dollars each.
Scourge inspected the box and grinned proudly.
"Very good.~ The Herm is yours then.~"
Just when he finished, Shadow opened the door timidly, he didn't know if he could go inside.
"Come here."
The stern voice of Scourge made Shadow flinch and he quickly goes to him.
"You're ready to leave?"
Shadow nodded, looking at the ground.
Scourge took the boxes with the money with a smirk.
"Everything is settled then.~ You two can go.~"
Sonic smiled and got up from his seat.
"Come with me, Shadow."
He said with a gentle voice.
Shadow was a bit confused, nobody never spoken to him like that. But he nodded and followed Sonic outside.
'Maybe he will be better than Scourge?.. At least he talk to me normally and he his handsome too...'
Shadow blushed at this thought and goes in Sonic's car with him, heading to a better place... He hopes...
