Chapter 9

Shadow finished his work just in time before lunch. And goes to the living room where Sonic was waiting for him. "I'm sorry to have made you waiting..." Shadow said, embarrassed, and sat down in front of Sonic.
"It's okay Shadow, really, you don't need to say sorry all the time." Shadow blushed deeply red and looked down in embarrassment. Sonic just smiled at his shyness as the food was placed on the table.
Shadow was still confused why his owner wanted to have lunch with him, and he don't feel like he deserved this kindness. He looked back at Sonic, he blushed even more if it was possible when he saw Sonic just watching him with a gentle smile, he took a little breath and spoke. "Why you wanted me to be here with you?.."
"I just want to pass some time with you, to know more about you, things like that."
"I don't deserve this kindness..." Shadow said, looking back down. Sonic looked at him confused. "Why you think so low about yourself?.. What they have done to you?.." Shadow still looked down.
"I just want you to feel safe here... I'll never hurt you in anyway... I promise... I really care about you..." Sonic got up from his seat and took a seat next to Shadow. He looked a bit worried at him. Shadow looked up a bit. "Why you care about me?.. Why me?.. ... I'm nothing... Just a slave..." Sonic sighed and looked a bit around before getting up of his seat. "Come with me... In private..." Shadow obeyed and followed Sonic to his room. He entered Sonic's room and looked around a bit as Sonic closed the door and sighed, looking behind him at Shadow. "It's something that I have to hide... But it's hard when I'm next to you..." He came closer to Shadow and puts a hand on his cheek. Shadow looked a bit scared, with everything that happened in his past. "... You want me like anyone else?.." He asked suddenly, with small tears in his eyes. Sonic was confused at this reaction. "What do you mean by that?.." Shadow sniffed a bit but tried to hold back his tears. "Everyone wanted one thing of me... My body... I-I been raped... Tortured... I-I thought that you were different..."
Sonic looked at him with sadness and sympathy. "I'm really sorry about everything that happened to you... But I can swear that I'll never do something without your consent..."
Even if Shadow tried to hold back his tears, they escaped as he looked at Sonic's eyes. "... You promise?.." Sonic smiled gently and dried Shadow's tears with his thumb. "I promise."

Hey everyone! I'm continuing this story since I have some ideas for it, but I'm sorry if this chapter is small compared to what I write normally but I thought that it was a good moment to stop the chapter. Stay tunes for the next chapter! ^^
