dawn of a rebellion

chapter 1 - im stuck with a royal for the rest of my life

i was sitting on a massive hill which over looked the sunrise. the golden rays hit my face causing me to squint. my name is dawn summers, alphp of the dawn pack. my family died when i was young and i only had 1 friend. But before i could howl to the sun. i heard distance howls of pain from the pack house.  

I started to run towards the screams and each time I came closer the more screams I could hear. When I came to the pack I saw nearly every wolf was running around scared. I saw that the pack was being attacked by rouges. christina was beta of our pack and my best friend. She had already found her mate last week. He was beta of the bright pack. I didn't find my mate yet. But it might be because I turn 17 tomorrow. I started to get everyone out of the fight but unfortunately most of the pack was already fighting the rouges off.

I found Christina and James fighting off some rogues. I ran over to help them out. I grabbed my staff from under my skirt and started to beat the bastard up. When I was done with them I turned towards Christina and James who looked so tired.

"What on earth is going on, where did these rouges come from"?

"I don’t know James and I were just waking up when all of a sudden I heard howls outside."

A rouge was coming up behind them while I was talking to them. They must have known because they ducked their heads while I jumped up into the air an swung my leg to hit the rouge right in the face. He fell to the ground then Christina and James got up.

"Christina mind link everyone to fall back into the woods I'll go and get all of our stuff".

"Ok just be careful dawn". I gave her a quick hug an started to run for my life towards the house.

Since I was the alpha of the pack I was the fastest, strongest and most skilled fighter in the entire dawn pack. As I sprinted into the house I went through every room in the house and grabbed everyone's belongings and placed them in my enchanted bag. It was a small bag which could hold everything we had.

Once I grabbed everyone's stuff I went into the basement an grabbed all of ours camping gear and all of our supplies and weapons. Once that was done I ran upstairs an when I was outside all I saw was rouges staring at me. Oh man why did they have to attack today? They all came charging at me and I managed to jump high enough to reach one of the nearby trees. I started too sprinted up in the tree tops to see if I could find the rest of my pack. I mind linked to Christina who did not answer at first but then I heard James.

"Dawn thank goodness you're ok. None of the pack survived an Christina and I are the only ones left".

"Where are you? Tell me and I will meet you there".

"We are in the city in a nearby alley".

"Ok ill meet you soon".

I sprinted as fast as I could. If the dawn pack has fallen that means that the rouges have one this war. Ever since my father became alpha. A war has been going on between packs and rouges. As the years went by the rouges have killed of every single one of our packs and now that our pack has fallen. Christina, James and I were the only werewolves left who weren't rouges.
