Chapter 23 - The ceremony

We got back to the palace and the girls and I were trying to set up the things for tonight. It was only about an hour before it was time for the ceremony to begin. I was doing the Ashley’s and Susan’s hair while Ashley did our makeup and Susan did our nails.

I quickly pulled Ashley’s hair to the side an curled it. Then I got Susan’s hair and placed it into an edge side pullback. Susan did my hair an pulled it into a braided bun. Ashley did our makeup while I did here’s an Susan did our nails while Ashley did hers. He did it quickly enough now we can get into our dresses.

Ashley was first an she went into the bathroom while Susan and I were looking at the magazines. When Ashley came out she was wearing a red and black dress. The top half was red and the puffy bottom part was black. She had a sequin black belt around her waist and black high heels.

“You look amazing Ashley”. We both smiled at her and she smiled back.

“Ok Susan your turn”. We pulled her to her feet and pushed her into the bathroom. She rolled her eyes before closing the door an got changed. We waited for about 10 minutes before she came out and was wearing an aqua dress.

It had a laced part on the top. It had a part which connected to her neck them in the centre was an empty space which showed her skin and it was shaped into a heart. The bottom part was made out of many layers of a soft fabric which was very delicate. She wore cream coloured high heels and we were so proud of her.

“You look as beautiful as Ashley Susan”. She smiled and we saw her show a tear.

“What’s wrong”?

“Oh nothing it just that, I wish my parents could see me”. Susan’s parents died in a car crash in France an she was left to protect herself until she found Simon on her birthday.

“I know that they are very proud of you Susan”. She smiled before smirking at me.

“Now it’s your turn dawn”. I sighed before walking over to the bathroom an got changed. I stripped naked then pulled my dress on. I grabbed my high heels and put them on. I walked out of the bathroom an heard the girls gasp. My dress was a long white vintage sweep train dress. It had a long trail of the dress ,which was shaped like a mermaids tail, following from behind me. It was backless an very near the bottom. It was laced at the top and bottom of my dress and I had long sleeves.

The girls sat up and we all hugged. We all giggle before we heard someone knock at the door. We all freaked out before I said.

“Who is it”?

“It’s use dawn”. We heard dusk, Simon and Nathan outside.

“Just a second”. The girls helped me cover up my dress by pulling one of the curtains an pinning it across the room.

“Ok you can come in”. I heard the door open an then I heard the boys gasp.

“Wow, you girls look beautiful. Where is dawn”?

“She is behind the curtain”. I heard someone come closer but then Susan slapped a hand.

“Don’t peak, it’s a surprise”. I heard him growl. I laughed silently before I heard the boys again.

“It’s time for us to go”.

“Ok, let’s go Simon” I heard Susan leave then Ashley with Nathan. I heard dusk on the other side of the curtain then I heard him walk out.

“Are you coming”?

“I can’t I come down when it is time for me to be crowned”.

“Of course I forgot, I’ll see you down there”. I heard him walk out before he closed the door. I came out from behind the curtain an started to walk towards the stairs which im supposed to come down. No one was going to come down these stairs except me. I saw Ashley an Susan sitting in the front while all of the other pack members sat in the chairs. I saw my aunty sitting in the front too. She was wearing a black dress with black shoes.
