chapter 6 - the rouge attack

(Dawns POV)

I looked at all those missiles and bullet heading our way and there was so many. I quickly remembered a defence shield symbol. I quickly grabbed my staff an pressed the symbol. It started to glow but then I started to spin it around in a circle which caused a field to form. When the missiles where close they exploded on the shield and nothing was damaged. I turned and saw dusk hold onto my arm. I stopped spinning the staff an settled it onto the ground.  

I saw all the rouges and they started to charge up the pathway. I saw dusk run down an started to stab them one by one. While he was doing that I was still holding off the missiles. I kept on spinning the staff making the force field stronger. Then I noticed where the missiles were coming from. I spotted some tanks which had missile launchers on the back an saw some rouges loading it up. I calmed myself down an jumped up into the air. I spun the staff a few times before landing it on the ground causing a split in the earth. I saw as it split through the centre of the rouges. Many of the tanks fell into the crack and so did some rouges. I saw all of the tanks with the missile launchers fall in too. But then I heard a loud growl. I looked down at Zac an saw him with pitch black eyes. He transformed into a wolf an started sprinting up the path. I turned quickly enough to hold my staff up in defence and Zac jumped onto me. His sharp claws were digging into my shirt. He started to scratch me.

I quickly turned into my glowing wolf an scratched at his eyes. I must have got one because he got off me an staggered back. He turned back into a wolf while I stayed in form. I saw his eye had a scratch mark on it. I quickly moved back a bit before I pounced onto him he pushed me off an I nearly fell of the cliff but I managed to change into a human an grabbed the edge. I quickly hoisted myself up an quickly grabbed my staff. Zac quickly touched the area where his eye was bleeding and then took his hand off an must have seen the blood because when he looked at me he had pitch black eyes.

‘YOUR GOING TO FUCKIN PAY FOR THAT YOU LITTLE BITCH”. He ran at me with a gun but I quickly swiped my staff under his feet and he fell. But then something jumped onto Zac. I looked to see two wolves on him. One was blonde and the other one was white. Zac pushed them off him an started to attack them. One of the wolves transformed into a human. Then I noticed that the blonde wolf was dusk. He quickly helped the other wolf who I already knew was David. I quickly stabbed then staff into the earth and a section of earth that was under Zac disappeared and he fell into the hole. I closed it back up before I looked at the forces at hand. I tried to think of something to do before I looked at my staff and saw the symbol on the end glow. I then thought of a good idea.

“Dusk, David get behind me”. He looked back at me before quickly killing a rouge. He ran up to ma and went behind me.

“Stand back” he did so an I quickly started to swirl my staff to for the symbol in thin air. I did a few shapes before joining them together to make a massive symbol which was a replica of the symbol on the end of my staff. I put my staff down then pressed my palm on the symbol. Then a wave of energy went through the canyon causing everything to explode. The tanks disappeared and so did some of the men. When all the explosions were happening I was having trouble holding it up. I nearly fell when I felt someone behind me. I turned my head slightly to see dusk holding me by my waist holding me steady. But then all the tanks were gone and I collapsed. Dusk caught me an helped me up. I saw a squad of rouges heading our way. I quickly grabbed some of my daggers and threw them at the rouges and they were killed in seconds. I summoned the daggers back and they went back onto my belt.

I heard some rouges coming up from behind dusk. I turned an shot one dagger at one of the rouges which made dusk turn an slice the other rouge. I summoned my dagger back and then threw it at another rouge. I heard dusk swing his sword an slicing sounds. I grabbed my staffed and formed an ice tip which was very sharp. I used it to kill of any rouge which got to close. More rouges kept coming each time we defeated one. But then a rouge had turned into a wolf an pounced onto me. I lost my staff when it fell out of my grip. I put my arm up to the rouges next to stop it from attacking me.
