Chapter 18 - operation take back

“What that is insane. The castle will be heavily armed”. I was trying to convince my aunty about this plan but it was totally impossible.

“Just listen to me, we can take a small amount of men to the castle an search through the it. When we find Zac or darkest we either kill them or kick them out. And it will be easier now that most of his forces are frozen in molten rock”. She sighed before looking up at me again. But she looked at dusk before giving me an answer.

“Ok, we will do this plan but if you’re coming you’re going to have to find a new weapon no that you have lost yours.”

“Ok I’ll do that now but you go and prepare some men for this mission. We will met back here in half an hour.” She nodded before I walked off to the armoury an met dusk by bumping into him and he caught me by my waist.

“Hi dusk, I was just going to the armoury”.

“Oh ok, I guess your choosing a new weapon or something now”.

“You read my mind again didn’t you”. He nodded by I just shook my head while smiling. I pulled myself up and walked off to the armoury but I think dusk was following me because I heard footsteps behind me.

When I reached it I saw dusk walk past me. He walked over to the swords an picked one out. He held it tight before looking at me.

“What about this sword”. He threw it over to me and I caught it. I held it firmly an spun it around a few times before I realised that it’s not my kind of weapon. But then I saw a box with had a bow and a quiver of arrows in it.

“Hey dusk can you pass me that bow and quiver “. He looked at the bow then pointed to it. I nodded and he walked over to it. He took it out and threw it to me. When I caught it glowed a bright colour before I dimmed an turned white.

“How did it do that”? I lifted my shoulders an looked at it again. But then I saw a little target on the wall. I grabbed an arrow an placed it in the bow. I pulled the sting back and it shot out an shot the centre.

I saw dusk look at me then back at the target. I knew he was shocked because he kept looking at me then the target about a hundred times. But then he looked at me and finally spoke.

“How did you do that dawn”?

“Im not sure, I think I might stick with this for now”. I smiled at him then took off my archer glove an pressed the symbol on my palm. My clothes changed into white leggings, a white sleeveless top and some white high heel boots. I placed my white archer glove back on an saw that dusk was still in his armour. I took the archer glove off again an pressed the symbol on dusk’s chest. His armour came off an changed into a short black sleeved shirt with some black jeans an some short boots.

I smiled at his appearance and kissed him on the cheek before I saw my aunty come in.

“Dawn the men are ready. You good to go”. I nodded before walking over to her an leaving the armoury to follow my aunt. I placed my bow and quiver over my shoulder an walked along till we reached the training room.

In the room Simon, Thomas and a few other men were standing there in black clothes and had weapons on them. I walked up to them and they all bowed to me when I was close. But I just shook them off an told them not to do that. But when we were all ready I stood near everyone an closed my eyes.

I pictured the forest outside the castle an all of a sudden the men, my aunty, dusk and I were transported there.

“Ok, dusk, Loren, Simon and I will climb the wall and sneak in an try to find Zac and darkest the rest of you sneak through the back an knock out the solders.” We all nodded before breaking up. I was leading dusk and the others to the wall but we saw that there were a few guard’s there.
