Chap 1- illness

Third Pov

"I'm so sorry Mr and Mrs Manoban...according to the result I have with me is positive. Your son will clearly have this illness through the rest of his life......unless he takes the medicine I have with me.. There's a possible chance, he will get cured. " the doctor said. Mr Manoban nod. And Limario heard it. A tear left his eyes and his parents comforted him. The doctor excused and left the room.

Mr Manoban spoke, "hey it's okay. Remember what daddy say, always be strong...." he hugged his child. Ms Manoban did the same.

Limario then said, "How will I tell Nini about this?" he sniffed. Mr Manoban sighed and felt pity for his son. He knelt down infront of him and said, "Son, you know, If you say this to Jennie, she wouldn't just leave you just because you have this condition. She'll be there for you everyday. She'll be there to defend you. She'll take care of you. That's what true friends are for, right? You and Jennie have been friends since 5 years old. You two trust each others for a long time now. Don't think to much, Son." He pulled his son for a hug and kissed his forehead. "Remember don't think the negative side and look brightly on the postive side". His dad whispered.

Limario Pov

Damn, seems like these feelings is getting stronger day by day. These feelings inside me is from Nini. I mean I like Jennie more than a friend, you know what I mean. But I don't want to tell her. Cause it's something that has to do with love.

One of our promises is not to hide or lie to each other...I'm actually doing a little so it's fine.

But for now.....

How can I face Nini about my condition?
Dad said I shouldn't be afraid of telling her because we trust each other for a long time now and we've promised together to tell each other if we have problems and promise not to hide anything. But why don't I have the courage too? But I want her to know so I won't hide anything from her. If i didn't, I'll break one of our promises. Arghhh it's so frustrating. Why did I even have this condition?

It's dark now and I'm here at the backyard of my house with my Nini. We are both laying down on the grass looking at those bright stars up the night sky. I had both my arms behind my head and Nini's on top of her tummy. I turned my head to face her, she really looks so beautiful just by her side face. So gorgeous as always.

She noticed and we both were staring to each others eyes for a moment. We then ended up giggling not so loud because we didn't want to ruin the peaceful surrounding around us.

I broke the silence and sat up, "Nini? Lets say, a person has this illness where he would have it for the rest of his life? Would his friends leave him because of it?...I mean like because it's....". I whispered at the last sentences.

I looked at Nini who's now looking at me confused and sat up. She had this expression 'what do you mean' face. There was a short silence and then she spoke so I looked at her. "Well... If I were his friend, I wouldn't leave him because I will take care of him until he gets better...... " she smiled and looked at me.

I blinked a couple of times and I said "Okay, thanks Nini." I smiled. There was a tint of red on my cheeks so I quickly looked at up to calm myself. Huhu. I can even hear my heart beating fast... I hope she doesn't hear it.

After calming myself, I then secrelty back hugged her. She got shocked and so I pulled her to be between my legs. She said "Rio why are you so sweet?" I smirked. "Yahh....aren't you not used to it already? I'm always like this when we were still kids...".

Jennie's Pov

Yeah it's true... But why do I feel like it's something else?

We are like this for a few minutes already when he put his face on my left shoulder and pecked my cheeks. Now I'm blushing hard. Seriously this little Limario, I might kiss him already... Joke..

Limario's Pov

We both looked at the stars while I gently placed my chin on her left shoulders. Nini said "Rio, I want to make a promise....". She said "What is it Nini?". I replied "Don't leave me, please? I want to be with you until my last breathe..." She turned her face to my face, while I was smiling wide. I put my left hand up and said "I Limario Manoban...will promise to stay with my nini forever until our last breathe" I smiled widely.

Third Pov

2 days after...

Jennie's parents decided, it would be better for their daughter to study in New Zealand for only a year, since her father recieved an important opportunity that he will be meeting one of the greatest companies in New Zealand and will need to finish the project for one year.

And he's father couldn't miss this opportunity to join. It's his dream to go to New Zealand to meet one of the greatest and richest companies. Since he was Jennie's age, his father holds the company. So when it was time for Mr Kim to hold the company, he promised his father to do his best to rise the company because it was the generation of their family.

Limario didn't know about this sudden decision, but Jennie does. She decided not to tell Limario the purpose of leaving Korea. She told her parent's, she didn't want to leave Limario because she loves him so much. Her parents said, her and Limario could talk on facetime whenever she wants.

Jennie Pov

I cried about my parents decision. I hate my dad so much. He's so workaholic. All he does is work, work, work. Comes home late and mum doesn't mind him, because she knows dad is working hard for us. But all I care is for Limario. I tried to convince them if I can stay with Limario while they go there. But seems like he doesn't want me too. So I decided to not argue with him anymore and go with them. I will spend my whole time before i leave him.
