Chapter 14

Jennie Pov

I'm at the hospital right now. I'm still waiting for the doctor to come out from the emergency room.

"Unnie? I told Bambam to pick up the kids and he'll take care of them for the meantime." Rosè said.

"Thankyou Rose" I smiled and she hugged me. "I'm so sorry Rosè" and their, I cried.
"No unnie, don't apologise. It's not your fault. It was unexpected. We didn't know he will do that to Rio. Stay atrong unnie. I know Rio won't give up, he's a strong man." I calmed because of her words.

"Thankyou again Rosè." She said and held my hand. "Your welcome unnie."

"I'm glad no papparazi's caught us. Otherwise it'll be on the news and his parents surely might be worried."  she said and sighed.

Wait. Papparazi's? "Wait Rosè....Rio is famous?" I asked her.

"Yes unnie. He started became famous because his father was announce as the highest CEO of Korea and Thailand. A lot of girls are crushing over him. So you better get hime before they do" she winked. I slap her arm gently and glared at her. Seriously? She'll be teasing me about this? "Yahh he's mine!!!" I said to her which made her laugh.

Then the doctor came out. We both stood up. "Doc how is he? Can we see him?" I asked. "He lost a lot of blood, and good thing the stab wasn't that deep, so he's going to be fine. He just needs to rest for a couple of days and will need to take medicines." we felt relieved. "Yes you can see him. Just be a little gentle with the wound." he said "Okay thankyou doc" he bowed and left.

"Why don't you go ahead, unnie. I'll buy us some food" She said. "Okay be safe Rosè" I said. She nod and left.

I walked inside the room quietly and I see him sleeping peacefully. I sit down on the chair next to him. I gently caress his face.

A coloured bruise showed on the side of his mouth and a band aid on his head.

I looked at his eyebrow. Kai did that to him when we were still at school. It made a scar between his eyebrow. I can't believe Kai would still do these to him.
I don't know if I should tell the police about this but I need an approval from Rio.

I looked down to his hand and I hold it. "Rio, I hope you can hear me. But I'm so sorry that you got hurt like this. I wish it was me instead. You've suffered too much already." A tear flow down my cheek.

"I just wanted to say thankyou for everything you did for me and Kelly. I. wanted to give back something to repay for your help. I don't want to loose you anymore Rio. So please don't leave me. "
I kissed the back of his hand.

"I'm sorry that I left you for a long time. I'm sorry that I broke our promises. I'm going to take care of you from now on. Don't be a stubborn, alright? Please be strong". I wiped my tears.

Then I felt his hand move. I stood up. "Rio? Can you hear me?". I said. He finally opened his eyes. "N-Nini?" I smiled as he called me 'nini'. I missed him calling me that for how many years.

He tried to sit up. "Arghh!!" he groaned. "Rio, just lay down. The doctor said to be careful" she smiled at him and sits back down.

Rio Pov

I feel so numb. Then I felt a hand holding mine. As I opened my eyes, it's a little blury, I was inside a white room and light shining above me.

Then I heard a familiar voice "Rio? Can you hear me?". "N-Nini?"I said. I tried to sit up but i felt pain coming from my stomach. "Arghh!!" i groaned.

"Rio, just lay down. The doctor said to be careful" Jennie said. She helped me sit back and she smiled at me and gave her smile back.

Then there was silence between us. I looked at Jennie who was trying to adjust her seat. Cute.
