Chapter 18

Jennie Pov

These past few days, I've been more close.... I mean clingy towards Rio and he doesn't mind at all.

One thing I love about this man is one, his very caring. He loves whatever he does. And second, he always put others before him, he's very responsible.

I know he has been through in the past without my help. It's all my fault. But past is past, right?

If Kai didn't have to go to New Zealand, I would have told them that I have feelings for Rio.

I guess destiny was just testing our friendship. And then all of a sudden it found another way for me and Rio to be together again. Amazing right?

I really hope this time, no one will intrude in our life. We look happy now.

And Kai will have to suffer for what's coming for him which I cannot mention yet.

Back when I was with him, we've talked about it many times and he keeps promising it. But I guess, he cheated on me. I will never forgive him, besides he was playing games with me. If Rio had known what Kai has been doing to me, I know Rio is not a very easy man to stop. If he's family or me get hurt. He will hurt them back.

For now I don't want Rio to stress out. He's already stress about his family and work.

Sigh. I should stop worrying about what's going to happen. I just want to spend time with my boyfriend.

That night when we almost did it, I was...I don't know...in our own world. I bit my lip as I remember my hand touching his toned abs. Tbh he was cute and a fat boy when we first met. He loves food, what you expect. And still now, he does. Everytime we go grocery, he grabs chips and sweets first. I sometimes just shrug it off because I know he'll just pout and act cute infront of me when I try to stop him.

But I know he can maintain of what's he's eating. And of course he goes to the gym to excercise. What y'all expect with those abs? I'm lucky to have him. I really really love my man.

Rio Pov

Hyung, my boss, is shouting because they didn't ask him permission to publish the teaser for the new game since there was some bugs and glitch happening. They all thought it was done because one of our team said it was all ready to be out. I wonder who could that be?

I was in my office trying some new features for the next project on my computer. My office is across hyungs, so I can easily go talk to him.

Inside my office, has another room across my desk. It's a secret room that only me and Hanbin know. Before, that room was where I used to stay in mostly. I didn't want to stay in that mansion. Everything inside is like a real house. Since then, I was able to buy an apartment with my own money I save up and rented a very simple place for me to live in.

My phone vibrated and I grab to see who was calling. It's Jennie. My mouth turned into a smile and I answered.

"Hi baby" I said.

"Baby! I miss you!" She said from the phone.

"I miss you more my baby. Why did you call? Are you and Kelly alright?" I answered. I stood from my chair and walked towards the glass wall of my office, where I can see the whole city of Seoul from up here.

"Don't worry, me and Kelly are okay. I called, if you want to have lunch at Jisoo unnie's cafe?". Jisoo? Who's that? I don't remember anyone named Jisoo.

"Babe? Who's Jisoo?" I asked her. I heard her chuckle. "Ohh don't you remember her babe? She's my cousin. We met her back then".

"Ohh now I remember! Haha stupid me" I laughed.

Now I know! Rosè mentioned about a girl she liked back at school. Aha! I can't wait to tease that girl. No ma---

"BABE? You still there?" Oh shit! "Uhhh... I ahh...Sorry babe! And yeah sure I'll come. I'll pick you and Kelly soon." I told her.

"Okay baby. See you later and drive safely. I love you!" She said through the phone.

"I love you too my love, see you!" I replied and end the call. This girl completes my day. She's my sunshine.

I went back to my table and pack up my things. I need to tell hyung that I will be leaving soon. I was about to get my coat when my door knocked.

It's Mina.

"Hey Rio" She came in. I smile at her.
I was about to grab my coat, when she spoke again, "Aren't you going to say hi to me?" She asked and crossed her arms.

I cleared my throat, "Hi Mina" I said.
She smile widely which I find a bit weird because of her actions earlier. She clasp her hands and walks to my table.

"So, do you want to have lunch with me?" she leaned on my desk. Is she flirting with me?

she bit her lip and I was feeling kinda uncomfortable.

She is hyung sister. She doesn't work here but on behalf of Hanbin, she's part of it. Mostly every single day, she always come here, but I just ignore her.

Hyung told me about her secret. She likes me. I told him I'm not interested in her. When she found out, she kept on bugging me and flirting everytime I come to work.

And now.... she's here again.

She doesn't know I already have a girlfriend. I need to tell her that Jennie is my girlfriend. I've been waiting for Jennie to come back for a long time, and now, she's here with me and I won't let anyone ruin our relationship. I love Jennie more than anything.

Hanbin doesn't know about Jennie yet. I'll introduce her and Kelly tomorrow morning.

I gulped as she bit her lip again. I sighed and ignore her. She's stressing me out. "Sorry Mina, I'm having lunch with someone" I said and placed all the papers aside.

She really has to stop this because it's not going to work.

She crossed her arms. "With who?" I look up to her, she was raising her eyebrows at me.

Seriously?

"Why do you need to know?" I said to her. "Because I want to know" she said. Are you kidding me? This lady infront of me is giving me a headache.

I look at my watch and it's almost 30 minutes. I grab my coat.

"Mina I have to go. Please tell hyung I'll be out. And if you don't mind, please leave my office right away when I leave" I said my back at her. "But Rio I---" and boom.... closed the door.

I smirked and put on my sun glasses and left.
