~ Part 20 ~

Minjae yawned as she woke up on the couch. She opened her eyes and saw her daughter already wide awake on her bed. "Jenny, baby! You're awake!" she stood up and walked to Jenny's bed. 

Her daughter gave her a smile, "Hi, Eomma," she said and hugged her mother tightly. "I was so worried. Are you okay? Anything hurt? Still dizzy?" Minjae asked her daughter as she let go of the hug. Jenny shook her head and gave her a smie.

Someone knocked the door, Minjae gave them permission to enter. The door was opened then Namjoon and the doctor came in. Both of the guys gave a polite bow to Minjae. 

"Good morning, Mrs Park. Jenny." Namjoon said, giving them a smile.

The doctor smiled at Jenny, "Hello Jenny-ssi. I'm Jinyoung, the pack doctor. How are you feeling?" 

Jenny smiled at him, "I feel okay. I mean, I don't feel dizzy anymore." Jinyoung nodded his head. He smiled "That's good to hear. Let me check your pulse and temperature, ok?" Jenny nodded and let him do his job.

As he finished, Jinyoung wrote the data on his notes. "Your pulse is normal, just slightly faster and your temperature is surprisingly already normal, since you were burning up yesterday." 

Minjae smiled at the doctor, "That's great to hear. Thank you, doc." Jinyoung nodded politely.

Namjoon cleared his throat, catching everyone's attention, "Jenny, Mrs Park. I came here with Jinyoung to talk about the condition." Minjae nodded nervously and Jenny just sat there silent, listening. 

Jinyoung nodded and continued Namjoon's words, "Yes. I found the journal I was talking about yesterday and I want to ask Jenny-ssi about the symptoms."

"Symptoms? Of what?" Jenny raised her eyebrows.

"Of the possibility of you being a werewolf."

Jenny's eyes widened, "What are the symptoms?" she was curious. She didn't want to believe that Rose really existed, she wanted to prove that she wasn't crazy.

Jinyoung opened his notes and began, "Did you feel dizzy?" Jenny nodded. 

"Did your body temperature go high?" Jenny nodded. 

"Did you hear voices that was not yours in your head?" Hearing that question, Jenny nodded her head vigorously "Yes! I heard the voice and because it was too loud, I felt dizzy and I guess it was the reason I passed out!"

Minjae looked at her daughter, "Are you sure, honey? Didn't you just imagining it?" 

Jenny shook her head, "No, mom! The voice is really there!"

Jinyoung nodded, "What did the voice tell you?"

"She said her name is Rose and that she's my wolf."

Namjoon looked at the doctor, "So it's true?" Jinyoung nodded, "If she really said the truth, then it is true. We just have to wait until her first change."

Jenny pulled the doctor's shirt, catching his attention. "Change? What change?"

"Your body. Your wolf will want to be released, and when they are ready, you will turn into the werewolf."

"Oh. So that was what Rose meant by 'cannot wait to be released'." Jenny mumbled to herself.

Minjae was nervous and anxious. She didn't believe that her daughter had become a werewolf. She was surprise, shocked, and somewhat sad. Jenny's eyes widened, "Mom, why are you crying?" Minjae shook her head, now fully sobbing.
