~ Part 17 ~

Namjoon was sitting in his office, he had been thinking about his friend's suspicion about Jenny and Seokjin the other day. He didn't want danger to come to the couple and to his pack. Even though he had just been knowing Jenny for a couple months but he already cared for her like his own family.

Namjoon heard his door was opened, "You called for me?" Seokjin's voice was heard from the door. Namjoon just nodded his head and asked Seokjin to sit on the chair in front of me. He sighed as his Beta sat down, "I want to tell you something."

"What is it?"

"My friend from the US came to visit the other day." Namjoon began, Seokjin nodded his head "I know, I heard you told Jungkook about the sparring."

"It's not what I'm trying to tell you," Namjoon's voice sounded hard making Seokjin worry but said nothing. The Alpha continued "His friend saw you with Jenny that day and suspected her as your mate." The Beta widened his eyes in surprise "What?" Namjoon sadly nodded at his Beta, "That's why I want you to be careful whenever you hang out with her."

Seokjin could feel his heart skipped a beat. He was mad at himself for not being careful and could put his mate in danger. His grip on the table tightened. Namjoon was worried for his friend in front of him, he hated to see his best friend, the one he trusted so much got hurt. The Alpha put his hand on Seokjin's shoulder, "I think it's better for you to tell her not to come here or the bookstore for a while and if you want to meet her, ask her to meet at her house. Tom and his friend are still in town and their Alpha will be arrived in three days, we have to be careful." Seokjin closed his eyes.

Namjoon sighed, "I'm sorry but it have to be done like this." The Beta shook his head, "You don't have to be sorry. I was the one who wasn't careful enough and could put us all in danger." The Alpha smiled sadly at him, "You know we all care for the both of you very much, so we will find a way somehow."

Seokjin nodded his head before heading out the door.

In the last three days before the visit from their guest from the US, Seokjin had been spending his time in Jenny's house. He didn't want to risk it. Jenny was so scared and panicked for a bit, but Seokjin finally convinced her that everything would be all right.

The Alpha from Ashes pack was supposed to come in few hours, Namjoon called his Beta and Delta to come with him to the meeting room next to his office. Seokjin and Jungkook were standing next to Namjoon, waiting for their guest. After around 10 minutes of waiting, one of the guards outside knocked the door, "Let them enter!" Namjoon ordered, his Alpha voice was so hard and loud, full of authority.

The Alpha of Ashes pack was clearly older than Namjoon, he seemed like at his middle 30s while Namjoon was still 24. He had suit and tie on, his eyes were hard and he was pretty muscular. Tom and the Delta, Lucas were standing behind him.

"Hello, I'm Kim Namjoon the Alpha of Moonchild pack. Welcome to my land." Namjoon said in perfect English, moved forward and offered his hand for handshake to the other Alpha. The said man nodded his head and shook Namjoon's hand, "I'm Nicholas Rodd, Alpha of Ashes pack." They both released their handshake. Namjoon smiled at him, "This is my Beta, Seokjin," Seokjin nodded his head, "and my Delta, Jungkook." Nicholas nodded his head in acknowledgement. After all the introduction, they all sat down around the table.

Nicholas had this weird gaze with him, he had his eyes on Seokjin since he arrived in the room. Seokjin could feel his strange gaze but decided to ignore it. Seeing that, Nicholas smirked "You seem interesting, Beta Seokjin." All eyes went to look at Alpha Nicholas. Even though Seokjin's English wasn't as perfect as Namjoon's but he understood what the Alpha said. Seokjin had his eyebrows raised, "Why is that, Alpha Nicholas?"
