The bus ride was finally over when we arrived at the enormous high school. On the front of the building read "St. Fariss High School" with a green and blue jersey pinned on the door under it.

I raced off the bus and almost got trampled by a few kids in my sisters age group.

"Hey! Watch where your going!" I yelled. "Shawn! Another tip! Don't yell at older kids!" Alicia whispered to me & giggled with her friends.

"Why is that good advice?" I ran up to her with worry. "You will see one day." She laughed even louder than before. I shrugged and ran away from them.

"Ouch!!" I bumped into a girl like a head on collision. "Sorry!" I helped her up. "That's okay. Hazel." She shook my hand. "What? ... My eyes are actually blue, but I guess they do look Hazel in the sunlight." I opened my eyes wide so she could see them. "My name.. It's Hazel." She laughed. "Oh..." I grinded my teeth together.

"Don't worry. Your not the only new one here. I just saw a new kid who needed help finding the washrooms." She smiled. "Wait. How did you know I'm new here?" I asked. "The way your walking around here.. It looks like your Alice and this is wonderland." She joked around.

I rolled my eyes and adjusted my hair. "Your cute." She giggled. "W-what?" My jaw dropped. "Your cute. Have you ever got a complement?" Hazel asked. "No... I mean YES! I'm losing my mind.. Thank you for the complement." I said with hesitation.

"No problem. I need to get to class. Bye." Hazel walked away with a smile.

What a beautiful girl. "Brown long hair, blue eyes. And a nice spirit." I sat down on the curb, staring at Hazel walking away slowly, with her high heels clicking in the ground. She looked like the popular type... geez I'll never have a chance with her. I slapped myself.

The bell suddenly rang loudly. I snapped out of it and walked into the school.
